The pace of the game cycles. It has faster and slower periods, but on the whole it does not rocket along at light speed... ever. It's one of the things that helps keep the posting expectations reasonable for any of us who have additional demands on our time outside of here

*nod* The best thing to do is to nab another one or two characters so the wait is decreased and you'll always have something to do.

That would be because of location. We have a pretty wide variety of players from Europe and across many US time zones. Most of us have jobs/families/school.

Patience is a key. Take time to read if things are slow for your tastes (and remember, Christmas just ended and a lot were busy with that)

Probably. You could also try looking around at some other threads. Maybe join in on those. A really good idea would be to throw in with a gestalt team. It gives you a group of experienced players to help you out when you're lost.

Well, there's not a guide for that. If you'd like, I could try matching you to a character you could want. Honestly, you should look for characters you like or want and then find out what happened with them. For instance, Brawn hasn't been played in...I don't remember when. So you could put him in the Longevity.

If you go with the special\gestalt teams, it was mention that you'll have others to interact with and usually we would know what the character(s) been up to within the group. Jumping into another thread is also wise in case one gets bogged down the other might be half way active. Be glad this RPG runs fairly slow because it gives you time to read and catch up. Sometimes it takes the best of us a few days to come up with a good post especially if we have several characters. I should get a post up with 5 of 6 Autobots I got running around in Australia in the next day or two.

FYI

I'm having some serious internet connection issues...seems to be unstable to say the least. Keep getting booted off every minute or so.

ISP is no help so it's my turn. Going to install a new router. Keep your fingers crossed that this clears things up.

Was the Fallen's staff controlling everything or just his shield? I'm wondering about the remaining golems and fire tornadoes.

By the way, I injured my left hand at work so typing one handed which might explain more typos on my part. The hand up to the elbow is in a splint for the time being.
