This is just odd, but my Wal-Mart stopped carrying GI Joe and Marvel Legends, and have started picking up Transformers. It used to be like once every 3 months they would change what they had on hand via orders but now its like they get new stuff every 2-3 weeks. Still waiting on the Voyager stuff, but I will have that soundwave as it isn't too out of scale compared to the deluxes, plus it's BA alternate mode is sweet. Happy new years everyone!:D

This was a Christmas pressie to myself in a way. It turned up just before Christmas, so I kept it boxed until Christmas day to unwrap...

I don't usually get Transformers stuff for Xmas as no one has a clue what to get me. But my awesome GF got me a boxed Henkei Thrust and Botcon Thrust this year

I got Prime Rumble from my Mum and Mrs O got me RTS Fallback, RID Optimus (missing his tyres but I only want him for Omega Prime) And, the jewel in the crown, Commemorative Edition Soundwave!

DOTM Sentinel Prime (pre-xmas bargain kept for xmas day so I had a toy to open). My three year old nephew spotted him in the living room and seemed quite interested, next year mate, next year.

Today though with vouchers and chrimbo cash I picked up the FOC Combaticons and I love them! Five good deluxes and a stable and posable combined mode. The colours are burning my retinas a little but I'm sure I'll get used to that, or go partially blind and he'll be the only bot I'll be able to make out. Got them for a bargain price too, I've seen them in three stores, a new toy shop in a mall near us, an out of town TRU and my local TRU. The new shop and the out of towN TRU wanted £12.99 each, the local TRU had them out for £9.49 each, £47.45 total compared to £64.95 in the other shops. Result!

I've gotten myself a "Christmas Gift."

QC issues aside, Optimus is a bloody awesome figure.
