city commander kits - something odd

i Just got my new city commander kits in today (shattered glass and clear) and ive just realised something odd

why did they make a clear DIA city commander first rather than an Ultra magnus colored version? i know it sounds odd but i only realised today when handling it that the colors are the DIA colors. i originally thourght this was ultra magnus clear coloring until i had the item in my hand and then noticed

so far i seem to have all the versions of the city commander kit but realised once i had my 3 clear leaders together (clear hotrod+clear prime+clear magnus) that magnus is infact powered convoy

Anyone else wonder if the last 2 moulds we may get of this may be wonderfest clear black and magnus clear colors for magnus?

btw who else is using dia prime for there shattered glass version of ultra magnus? i got shattered glass ultra magnus+prime and hotrod sat on my desk, i just love these 3 kos...shame hasbro cant see the commen sense and make these things a retail release as they could re-release every classics figure they have done but in SG coloring.

The clear and SG versions are both KO's, but I always thought the clear one was in City Commander (Ultra Magnus) colors too. I didn't realize it was DIA Commander's colors.

It's because it's meant for the official Henkei Crystal Convoy. i don't think there is a clear ultra Magnus for a complimentary kit, official or KO.

But they were broken so easily. Mine came that way.
The one yours' links to has the chrome and black molded plastic to fix the areas that broke easily. They should have used white plastic, the black looks tacky with the clear.
All mine can do is stand and look pretty. Would love to see one in the clear Commander kit though, I think it would look stunning.

I have never seen these kind of transformers before, that is very cool to see. I want to know that how can you make that? I think that is very interesting to know.

I got the SG City Commander to go with my KO SG Prime and I love him. I passed on the clear version because I dont have a KO crystal convoy. KO Toys did make a colored KO version of the Henkei but Mike even listed on his site that it was not meant to be transformed too many times as it is very delicate.
