I had entered the Captured Prey customization class at Botcon 2013. I was really excited at getting a chance to own a classics Pounce and Wingspan. I made the mistake of getting wasted before the class and missed half of the instructions. Encline knows what’s up lol. Anyways, I promised myself I would take a shot at them when I returned home so here they are. They are by no means perfect. But I think I did a hell of a good job for painting by hand and using no tape. I went for the cartoon accurate heads with the orange faces from The Rebirth. From what I had read online somewhere, there were supposed to be some animal parts made that would somehow give these guys Earth modes. That either wasn’t true, or didn’t happen due to budget constraints. If those parts were actually designed, maybe someone could put them up on Shapeways. If anyone has any information on those parts or ideas, please share it here. I know there’s at least 100 of these kits out there, probably more. Anyways, enjoy the photos.

Not bad at all X . i would have painted the shins that dark blue and just painted the vents that yellowish colour for the G1 look. i would love to see this mold retooled with the beast modes.

These are great! Really like what you did with them. I would love to see Mech Ideas retool these guys some for a release.
