today I proudly present leader class classics Trypticon

This was a collaboration with Misfitrobot he did the moding to the toy, and I did the paint job. We tried to include all the features the original G1 toy had and add elements from the TV show that were not included with the original toy. For reference here's a picture of the original G1 toy.



MisfitRobot did the following;
added lego connectors to the Zoids toy in 32 different spots
created to unique transformations.
created a transforming Cogg port.
built Trypticon backpack from jet fired pieces.
articulated each scale on the tail.
created the tank from three separate toys.
made custom stainless steel counter weights for the tail to maintain walking modes
no magnets were used in any of the parts forming steps.

Chibbywave;
a spray paint base coat metallic black, Teal and purple
used gunmetal, chrome silver, copper and several other mixed colors to detail figure, nose to tail
use sealer to prevent damage to paint

Now not only does the toy fully transform, once in dinosaur mode he walks! With two unique walking patterns each one with customized lights and sounds.

We will be putting Trypticon up for auction on eBay July 10 if you like what you see please bid. we will also have one last secret surprise which we will reveal in the last day of bidding! (hints: its a featured the G1 toy had.)

He`s Spectacular!! Fantastic work. I really like the roar mode.
Be proud of that accomplishment. I believe that that will be the closest we will ever get to a classics Trypticon.
YOu should consider making more and selling them. to be honest.

P.S- What did you use for the base dinosaur by the way. You said Zoid at one point in the text if i recall.

Thank you for the comment and advice! I'm glad you liked it! The custom requires a number of very rare parts so a large production of them would be difficult and expensive. But we are tempted nun the less!

The zoids toy we used as a base is called Gojulas Giga
