Well...There's only a few days left before the deadline, so I figured I'd show what is PROBABLY the final version of Mechanica. Communications between BlackArachnis and me have been sparse, so I dunno if he'll let me know what he thinks of the final image, or any changes he wants made before the due-date.
Some notes:
*Changes made to the mold:
-In robot mode, her vehicle mode windshield now swivles up and covers up the tire in her back (rather then hang down behind her like a butt-flap)
-Her "Spark Crystal" port on her chest/stomach has been removed
-She has a translucent green scanner/visor over her right eye. Think of the scanners just about every badguy had in Dragonball Z
-She uses the gun and knife from Armada Sideswipe as her Laser welder & Energon scalpel.
*The bright yellow windshield & light below it are her actual siren/flashing lights. I doubt it'll come up in the comic this issue, but they would flash on and off if she was responding to an emergency.
*Until/unless told differently, that Wrench & Bolt symbol is the Transtopian Medic symbol.
*That hidious sploch on her chest is suposed to be her faction symbol. After trying, quite unsucessfully to shrink and stretch the large symbol Isk made to fit on her chest, this one i did pixel by pixel was actually the "best" looking one. I appologize for how poopy it looks.
*Blackarachnis has seriously modded her head. I've only heard a sentence or two about what he did and without pics to actually see it, I have no way to mirror these changes. As I unserstand it, he removed the "mowhawk" on her helmet and somehow turned her forehead crest into what sounds like an actual movable visor piece. We'll just have to make that version an "upgrade" or something for future comics/waves. To Josh or anyone else involved with the art, feel free to simplify her head to your liking and downplay that mowhawk & crest.
*Blackarachnis also smothed down alot of the details in her thighs & "boots", as well as some mods to the designs of her "cowboy boots" Again, with no pics for reference, I couldn't do much about this on my version. Again, for art purposes, I guess don't make the legs quite as detailed as the actual Arcee toy.
