Could MP Shockwave be a Possibility?

I find it interesting that RobotKingdom is no longer supporting the pre-order for the 3rd party MP Shockwave because it looks too similar to the original toy. The same thing happened with the 3rd party MP Soundwave, which months later an official MP Soundwave was announced. Is this a sign that Takara/Hasbro have plans for a their own MP Shockwave?

I hope so! Shockwave's a cool bot and it'd be awesome to see a Masterpiece of him. If they made like, what 14 Models of Optimus, they should definitely go for a Shockwave!!!

Honestly an MP Shockwave would not be that hard to make. The G1 Shockie is already pretty damned accurate AND articulated for its time.
Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

My reviews of Transformers G1, one episode at a time. Stop by for a spell!

I don't see why they couldn't, he'd make an excellent MP figure. Just have to wait for all the obligatory repaints to be processed first.

But seriously, unless Tomy gets all the papers on TM straight, that'll be a possibility.

Assuming Quakewave starts selling from anywhere regardless, that can only increase its collector's value. Unless Has/Tak announces an MP Shockwave, all this perceived scarcity will do is increase Quakewave's perceived value.

Anyone getting Third party MP Shockwave? I for one will not. for the MP line I feel like once Takara decides to do that Character the Third Party version will be far inferior no matter how good it looks.

Exactly. If Takara does Shockwave I'd just feel ripped off if I'd bought the 3P version. After they announced MP-13 every post I read the poster was going for MP-13 and many said they didn't care if it cost more.

When it comes to Masterpiece I'll wait for the genuine version.
