OK, so if you haven't won an invite into the Halo 3 Beta, there's only 1 way to get it for sure. Microsoft has stated that the initial wave of Crackdown comes with an invite to the Halo 3 demo. Most of you probably know this.

So who plans on buying Crackdown just for the Halo 3 demo?

I really wanna say I want to get the game for the game and not the demo, but I can't. I probably wouldn't have even heard of it if it wasn't packed with the Halo 3 demo. Crackdown isn't a bad game though. I've played the demo, and I really like it. It's part GTA, part Hulk, part Spiderman, and part RPG. My only concern is what kind of staying power this game will have. If all there is to do is run around and kill gang bosses, participate in races, and collect tokens, then this game will get really old really quick.

The game is insanely awesome. Me and my bro are pitching in together to buy it. Much more fun than GTA has ever been and it's nice to be on the right side of the law in a sandbox game for once.

i did indeed pre-order jsut for the demo, but after i played the crackdown demo my mind was changed and iw as glad i did it. thanks weird korean guy at gamestop!

i love the gameplay but what i don't like is that every building is shut off, atleast in the demo. i also didn't like that there isn't a storyline, just constant fighting for armorys and killing kingpins...but hey, online co-op makes it all the more enjoyable with my buds from school.

i hope that the leveling is a bit more than 4 levels in the real deal, i got car upgrades and agility bonus' easily even with the points jacked up for the demo.

EDIT: I would not physically be able to play Halo 2 for 3 hours. As much as I like Halo, it jsut gets so boring and I hope H3 brings back the fun.
