Not all trucks are the same size though. I saw this one while riding and snapped a pic with my phone:

Huffer was never depicted as big as Prime.

There's also the magic of TV and only so much you can do with the toys. But it looks rather faithful to me. From the look of the pictures I think they did a good job with the scale of both modes. And the finer details look consistent with the MP-10. I would like one, but 70$ + shipping, hm...

btw, on the way back I saw Bumblebee! ;)

Thats more or less a converted van, but Cubex Huff is still Deluxe if, as the picture showed, they want to compare scale along side Prowl.
I am really liking Cubex take on Huffer and may pick him up as long as the price is right, but he most definately will not be displayed with any MP as he clearly scales better alongside Deluxe Classics.
Perhaps Daimchoc can provide a pic of Cubex Huff along side some of Hasbros Classics cars. >:oP

I don't know how often I have to repeat this, but the MP line (since MP 10) is scaled to cartoon robot modes. And as you can see, even the alt-mode is in cartoon scale.
How often will we have to tell you until it finally sinks in?

Sure if you want, you can put him with your Classics, but to contantly go on about how it's not Mp scaled even after it's been pointed out for a year, is just asinine.

Calm down dear, how about you just dont bother to repeat it, which will help cheer yourself up?

Back to the figure, shame they couldnt have come up with a pair of articulated hands which fold out of the arms rather than the Revoltech style of plugging the hand or fist in for display.

This may just make me lean towards the X-transbots versions of Huffer and Pipes? :-?

Nope, what would make me cheer up more is if you weren't learning impaired, but then again that's not your fault. So I forgive you, you poor thing.

My, My. What a lovely way with words you have.

Making very blatent suggestions that a user on this Transformers fansite forum has learning difficulties is a very low blow, especialy from an ex-News Crew member and I feel this is more than insulting to any child or adult who frequent this great website looking to gain info on one of their favourite pastimes who may struggle with their own issues.
Please dont hate people who cant voice their own opinions or feel affraid to offer words.

If you feel you must try to attack me on a very public forum frequented by children and adults of all ages, just take a moment to reflect on the bigger picture.

I can offer my thoughts on a new Transformer related release and should I decide to re-evaluate the merits of that release, I can hold my hand up and say I have changed my view.
I hope you can do the same in respects to the way you have tried to belittle me in you post.

I am very impressed with the latest pics. This figure goes beyond what I was expecting:
Lots of poses
Well balanced in bot mode
Great MP scale
And lots of playing interactions - love that Spike can fit inside, and the roof opens up.

Why are the front wheels in bot mode shown two different ways? Which will it be?

My only hope is that the figure is well put together with little quality control issues.

I hope that the folk behind Cubex have gained some knowledge and expertise via other toy makers or 3rd party companies, giving them the urge to venture into creating a Transformers homage?
Im going to hold out for the early reviews before biting, but at least we know X-transbots have had a small amount of time to stand up and fall down, gaining feedback and the like, before they went all out on a full figure? :-?

Not long now. ;)

DM... I don't know what the issue is, but clearly you're angry for no good reason. Mel has an opinion, and whether it's good or bad, right or wrong, it's his and he's allowed to voice it. You don't have to agree with it, but you do have to show him some respect as a human being. Just because his opinion on the scale of this figure doesn't fit with yours doesn't make him "learning impaired". You have every right to address his comments, but without crossing the line as you have here.

Mel hasn't bothered you, and he wasn't rude in his response to you, in fact... He let the issue die. You, on the other hand did not.

STOP.

Oh no, if this was opinion I wouldn't have cared, what pisses me off is the consistent falsehoods and baiting. I even said that there is nothing wrong with re-purposing it, everybody can do that to their harts content. But what I take issue is with this:
cubex-ancestor-rebuilder-series-01-engineer-huff-t95439.php#p1524929
cubex-ancestor-rebuilder-series-01-engineer-huff-t95439s25.php#p1524947

And then there is the third page. Although it's been pointed out to him, he kept on doing it. It's something we call flame baiting, and he proved it the moment he said this:

So I responded in kind, which I'm allowed to do now that I'm no-longer staff.
It's a typical troll tactic, I just took it a little further, and his response to that sealed the deal.

He can act like an ass, but then when he gets the response to it I'm the bad guy, and his recent reply is so false and typical once more, suddenly my response to him wasn't "really" to him but to "all of the community".
That's the reason for the yawning baby, boring heard all that before.

Oh and, I don't have to be respectful to anyone just because I "used to be" a member of the News Crew. I left all those responsibilities behind when I left that position, now I'm just a regular jackoff. So that line doesn't cut it, not anymore.

I don't see falsehoods or baiting. I see you acting as though it was. How hard is it to let him have his opinion and leave him be? I would've thought your time on staff would've helped you see that not everyone will agree and sometimes you just have to let it go.

I looked at all of his posts and nothing really stood out to me. Is he a bit strong willed? Yes. I can see how it might be frustrating for a lot of people to not be agreed with, but it happens to me all the time. Sometimes, people disagree with me just to get a rise out of me and they enjoy it. I'm learning to let it go. I have to. It's not worth getting this upset over a toy. Especially an unofficial toy.

Respond in kind? No. Sorry. He wasn't acting like an ass, he was acting like someone who was standing his ground on a point and wasn't going to budge.

I don't care if you used to be part of the news crew, you're a member of this board and respecting one another is part of what makes our board a save haven from the madness and instability of the others. People come here because they know they're not going to be torn apart like other boards would do. I've been to all of them and Seibertron is the best of the bunch, by far. I've felt better and safer here than anywhere else. Even before I became a member of the news crew. I want ALL members of this board to feel welcome and appreciated. This is like a community, and everyone should be welcome.

And the fact that you are an ex member of staff does mean something. People know who you are and that you once represented the Seibertron name. To mock him (or anyone) like that and think it will go unnoticed is incorrect thinking.

You're going to do what you want, but we will also step in if it goes too far, which it did here.

No punishments handed out, no warnings, nothing of that nature. Just a request for everyone involved to just stop and move on. I'm not asking that much.

Looks nice. Such a shame it isn't a nice scout size classics scale. I was under the assumption that this was the X-Transbots version. I didn't know it was a 2nd company competing with another MP Huffer. Is huffer really that important ??? Since Igear screwed up with Huffer's size, it would be more profitable for one of these two companies to shrink their mold down to scout size.

I collect MPs, so I'm getting this, but I agree with you X, I would like if one of these 3Ps would make scout sized versions that would fit a classics collection.

IGear really dropped the ball, and I wish someone would pick it up and run with classics minibots in scout size.

I just cant get into MP scale. For me, that huge size is cool to have your favorite characters of all time but not a whole G1 cast including obscure characters. And now the 3rd parties want to jump in with "neo" designs that aren't cartoon accurate. It's like theyre saying forget your classics collection and start from scratch all over again with Season 1. That combined with the prices are a huge turnoff. I don't think the 3rd party MP trend will last too long because of the prices and the disregard for cartoon accuracy. Fanstoys and Hasbro combined cant do all of G1 by themselves.

God damn, this is getting harder and harder to resist.
I know I only want to collect official MPs, but this has gotten to the point that, well could Takara actually top this? I'm beginning to think the answer is no.
