if a custom hobbyist can do this, why cant takara?
Didnt they learn from MP01 that cardboard sucks as a replacement for a mold?

These custom heads are simple, dont interfere with transformation and would make encore ratchet and ironhide decent enough to buy.

Pretty nice. Have you seen the clip on ones yet that actualy stand over the body?

Those are cool too.

I hope that either Takara or Hasbro(most likely Takara) will take notes on these custom pieces and finaly do a retool of these molds.

Its a shame they didnt do it right for the encore release. I am pretty sure those clip on heads I linked to could be permanent to the mold without interfering with transformation.

Ratchet and Ironhide are staples in the TF universe, they should have faces.
