Hi Transfans. I'm Crisdecal and I'd like some input. I plan on selling an exclusive repaint through my store of KO Dairu, Zauru, Gurafi & Noizu. I just need some help to figure out which color to sell them in. What I'm thinking is they would all have the same original boxes, paperwork & stickers as the first release KO's and:

A: All dinos in black.
B: All dinos in black with the original paint applications.
C: All dinos in black with all red paint apps.
D: All the main dino bodies in black with the originally black parts of the figures in purple with red paint apps (SG style?).

Your input would be much appreciated.

1. Does paint application means figures would be tampo? Meaning decals would be painted on rather than sticker. If indeed tampo my vote would probably be option c (all black with red tampo/paint application). Would love to see a white set but beggars cant be choosers.
2. Any idea on expected price per figure and will be sold as a set or individually? And any idea on expected release date? And total count of expected production run?
3. You indicate that these will be exclusive. Will they be exclusive to you and your store solely? Just wanted to confirm I understood correctly, and wouldn't see another dealer sell. Don't want to waste time expecting other dealer might sell for cheaper. Hope no offense taken by comment.
4. Did notice a grey painted set of these. Wondering if you knew if those were exclusive to one specific dealer/seller as well? Like these might be. Basically wondering if this is how these figures (future repaints) would be sold henceforth. And if I should jump on that set since don't expect anyone else to have/sell. Meaning that's the only source.

I would be more interested if they were Grey with gold like the G1 Dinobots. Also, what's your store and what would be your estimated price for all four?

Figures aside, if you can get the stickers cut right to perfection, theres alot of money to be made from people who bought the original KO's. The ones that came with the originals suck. Id gladly pay $20 for all four sticker sets if you can cut them out for a perfect application on the original KO figures. And I would buy your black repaints if you threw in an extra set of stickers for my originals. That extra added bonus would probally double your sales with the "meh" customers.

To answer your questions:

1: It will be stickers. There's no indication that the maker has moved on to tempo graphing the cassettes.
2: The price it looks like will be between $70-$80 a set. They will be released in about a month. The aprox. count will be 150 sets of each of the 2 sets.
3: Yes this color will be exclusive to my store.
4: Not sure what his plans are as far as selling to other dealers.

I will ask about tempo graphs though. I know when the KO's were coming out there was talk about tempo graphs.

I like the idea of them being a straight black repaint — like ravage. Black and gun-metal-gray.

But if that's not an option, I do like the last options best. C and D. Shattered glass is a nice notion.

Can you reserve a set of these early?
