Having botcon Gigatron in hand, I can now appreciate how massive the guy's head is, and it got me to thinking - some clever 3rd party manufacturer, with, say, a pedigree of producing add-on sets really ought to make a black jet, that can be broken into smaller parts and form some armour to upgrade poor old Gigatron to an ultra-class chunker, instead of his current gangly voyager class incarnation.

I was talking with a guy in line at BotCon who said he was planning to make a kit to do presicely what you're suggesting. Whether or not it comes to fruition is another question entirely.

But yes; I'd be down for one of those too.

I'm still hoping that nearly any 3rd Party company just make a Voyager Overlord at this point. I say nearly any because iGear would just make a prototype, take preorders and never release it.

Anyone know how many Gigatrons were produced? I'm guessing that will influence how viable an add-on would be.
