Corridor 3B – Across from the Breach

“Megatron, huh?” Blades' fists curled into white balls, bristling with fury. “Fragging spawn of a glitch! If I see that piece of slag, I'll kill him!”

Blades appreciated Hot Spot's manic approach to accomplishing any task he was designated. There was hardly a moment squandered with waiting or trifling conversation; he was always enveloped in some sort of procedure, attempting to resolve the problem with any means necessary. Physical force was one of the best options available to him, and he did use it quite often. Blades loved that about Hot Spot, as he related to that part of him so well.

But there wasn't any time to fondly recall characteristics of his leader's personality. He had an objective to focus on. A rescue mission to fulfil. The Autobots' lives were entrusted into the Protectobots' hands – something Blades regarded with the utmost importance. There was no way failure was going to violate his thoughts and impede his performance. Not a chance.

Although there was a strong possibility Hardhead would not hear the red and white helicopter's proceeding comment, he shouted it to him, anyway, hoping the exiting Autobot's audio receptors might snare it. “Will do, Hardhead. And break a leg for me!”

With the rapidity of events progressing chaotically as Blades could have expected from it, Jazz entered into the weapon-dominated fracas, a swift arrival the Protectobot had not anticipated. An excellent substitute for the combat-orientated Hardhead, though, even if Jazz demonstrated frivolous manoeuvres instead of a more appropriate killing blow. Were they not involved in war, after all?

“You better believe we're gonna spoil their party! But I don't know about all this shooting... I was thinking of just breaking them in two with my bare hands. I can count on you for cover fire, right, Jazz? Because I know you're one Pit of a shot with that rifle.”

True, Blades did possess a photon pistol and “smart” rockets, but he revelled in the destruction of his enemies he delivered with his bare hands. Or feet. Or whatever body part was qualified enough to mangle the Decepticons.

Hangar

Astrotrain shook his head in annoyance. Apparently his cognitive functions still had not returned to proper operational status for his attempt to catch Eject had ended - well, empty handed. When he had reached down to grab Blaster's little helper, the shape of the small Autobot had moved away like his speed had been at least doubled. And now, Blaster and his minions had already fled, having collapsed part of the hangar to slow down the chase by the Decepticons.

Of course, that was all that it was, a way to buy the Autobots more time. It was hardly the only way to go. Securing his ionic displacer rifle with both hands, the large triplechanger set off after Soundwave, determined to dish out some punishment against the insolent Autobot intruders.

The breach

"I've had it! Slaggin' Autoscraps!" Bonecrusher growled, as more Autobots forced their way into the base through the breach and past the Constructicons. As a response he took few steps back from Mixmaster's work, crouched down and sunk his fingers into the floor plating again. Utilizing his enormous strength, the Constructicon demolisher half tore and half bent the steel plate into a makeshift blockade that would protect him and the other Constructicons from the explosive agent Mixmaster was spreading between them and the Autobots.

"If you want a blockade, I'll slaggin' make one!" He boomed, transformed and pushed enough volcanic rock behind the steel plate to be sure the barricade would hold long enough before moving to right to do the same for some more floor plating and rock under it.

Skies above the breach

Thundercracker was getting seriously pissed off with the Autobots seemingly making mockery of them on every turn. While not fuelthirsty savage like some other Decepticons, he was a proud mechanoid and this battle had made the Decepticons look like amateurs again. First the Stunticons had managed to got themselves beaten and then they had managed to bounce and unit of Autobots into the the Decepticon base. Instead of them being taken care quickly, they had managed to hold Decepticons back long enough for Optimus Prime himself to lead a rescue team into the Decepticon base. And that rescue team had plowed through their way into the base with too little effort. Completely chaos had followed inside the base and now the Protectobots had gotten inside with like it had been a stroll in a park.

Before he had decided how to continue, he received a message from Ramjet, informing him that the Autobot they had been fighting there had sealed the side entrance with an explosive. If nothing else, this made it clear where they needed to be now.

He knew he was not in charge but it appeared that no one else was leading the effort at the breach either. If Megatron or Starscream wanted to berate him afterwards, so be it, but now Thundercracker was going to take the initiative. Opening up a comm-link to give out instructions to Dirge, Ramjet, Thrust, Skywarp and the Constructicons, Thundercracker landed before the breach and moved into the base, taking cover behind the blockade the Constructicons were building.

>>"This is Thundercracker, we will stop the Autobots getting out! Form a line behind the Constructicon blockade! Between the seekers and the Constructicons we will have enough firepower to bring down Prime let alone the Protectobots!"<<

Outside

The red and black warrior rolled his optics at the psychobabble the idiot flier was spewing. If he wanted to pull a prank on Space Case he would have done it already leaving the morn in pieces on the ground. But before Sideswipe could voice his annoyance, Space Case went and did something one lacking in any mental proficiency would do….arm his enemy….even when he knew said enemy was well tuned killing machine.

An evil grin grew on his face as he caught the club. “We may be even on your terms, Con, but you’re not gonna survive to gloat; I’ll be doing that.”

Sideswipe twirled the club before he shot toward Space Case. Once within striking range Sideswipe swung down aiming for the Con’s head.

Bounce Chamber

The grin on Hex’s face melted into a savage sneer. The young mech leaned down and put his face in line with the green scout’s, his nose almost touching Hound’s. In a hushed tone Hex spit out his contempt for the job he was sanctioned to perform.

“I’m doing this as a favor, nothing more. The way I perform the task is my choice, not yours.”

The silver mech placed his right hand on Hound’s shoulder and shoved the scout down flat on the floor. Hex’s deep cerulean optics focused intently on Hound’s own optics. He only broke off his icy gaze once he set to work on the wounds.

Hex went to work in silence; focusing on stopping the energon leaks and patching the armor over the tubes. The majority of the scout’s injuries were concentrated on the left side of his torso; not hard to repair, but for Hex the chance to cause someone else pain in order to alleviate his own was very welcome. Hex looked back up into Hound’s; gone was the savage sneer, instead the young mech’s features were dark almost serene as he dug his hand into one of the deeper wounds.

Only when the repairs were complete did he finally speak again. He leaned back down and whispered into Hound’s audio, “You get torn up again causing the team their escape; I won’t be the one repairing you; I’ll be the one putting a bullet in your head.”

Hex got back up on his feet and took a moment to stare down at the scout’s prone form. Before he turned to walk away, the young mech spit a glob of oil aiming for the green ‘Bot’s face.

****

At first Axle’s grip on Smokescreen’s arms eased up. Thank Primus he didn’t kill anyone. The medic’s silent praise was interrupted by Smokescreen’s voice and his continued explanation on Hex’s recent actions. Axle’s optics nearly glazed over at the possibility that his ward could have wandered off alone and brutally offlined another mech.

Without another word Axle turned his attention to the newly arrived First Aid and Groove. He quickly put Hex out of his processor and his responsibility to the young mech, and refocused on the current situation.

“That’s right. Hot Spot suffered a damaging blow to his cranium thank to Megatron. I’ve performed a few initial scans and there doesn’t seem to be any severe trauma to his processor. The perforation wounds on his chassis are mostly superficial. Hex is taking care of Smokescreen and Hound, who both seemed to be suffering from….”

At that moment Axle was pulled down to the floor by Smokescreen as artillery fire blazed just above their heads. The medic was relieved when he turned to look for First Aid and Groove, who had also heard Hardhead’s warning of the incoming fire.

While Smokescreen tried to down the newly arrived Ramplate, Axle called out to the two Protectobots.

“We need to get Hot Spot out of here. I’ll need you two to load him onto my bed. We’ve got to get out of here before this place becomes our tomb.”

Just then the chamber began to shake violently again. The once dormant volcano was on the verge of eruption; it was too obvious that the ‘Cons would use the natural disaster to their advantage. Keeping them pinned down long enough for the mountain to spill its contents and bury them all in a molten river of hot magma.

“Let's move!”

Mountainside

When his axe sliced into Megatron’s shoulder a small hint of satisfaction crossed his processor. It was his only proof that the Decepticon leader was not immortal or immune to pain. Before he could pull his weapon from the ‘Con’s now mangled shoulder, Megatron took another swing with his mace and struck Prime’s arm causing his axe to fall away from the mech. The blow caused the Autobot leader to cry out in pain, but he quickly recovered.

Once more he circled his opponent.

“You’re wrong Megatron. I do not intend on dying today. Today I intend to end your reign of tyranny by sending you to the Pit myself!”

Prime charged, his left shoulder down in an attempt to plow into the “con and knock him off his feet.

"STUPID!!" Space Case blocked the club. "I wanted you to come in close." His club's button was blinking. "A trick Sky Jack taught me. It's called Kamicozy. I'm taking you down with me." He laughs at Sideswipe, though he didn't realize he got the word wrong. If his club went off so would Sideswipe's and it was seconds away from detonation. Space Case was armored enough to be able to survive it but was his foe.

"A favor...right..." Hound tried not to wince under the attention of Hex, as the supposed medic worked him over. It hurt about as much as he'd expected, which has a lot. Sure, he wasn't slowly fading into stasis lock anymore, but he felt like he'd been dissassembled, and his internal thrown back into his chassis loose. Sitting up stretched pistons Hound had forgotten he'd ever had.

But the worst part was the gob of lube landing on his face. Not just to see an Autobot acting so vindictive, but because Hound couldn't fully disagree with the sentiment, even if a death threat was way too much. I don't need a reminder that I messed up. I know I'm embarrassing this team. But at least I'm still trying to act like an Autobot...

Theres no more time for musing which of them is right, however, as the Protectobots burst into the room, Ramplate hot on their heels. Hounds grunts, and levers himself to one knee as he readjusts his holograms, sending a virtual representation of Springer leaping at the Decepticon, to give the others an opening in the confusion.

Outer Breach

"Scavenger!! You cowardly scraplet, I gave you an order!!" Scrappers grimace is visible through the hole in his faceplate as he sees the Construcicon salvage specialist take a hit from the oncoming Protectobots, and dive behind Bonecrusher's new barricade in response. Had Scrapper been a more typical Decepticon leader, he might have shot one of Scavengers arms off in punishment, but the Constructicon leader simply went back to covering Mixmaster.

"Mixmaster, I don't doubt your chemical prowess, but I was hoping you'd put it a little closer to their end of the tunnel." Scrapper tries to guess what Mixmasters explosive trap would do if set up. Bonecrushers barricade should protect them from the blast, but what if the Autobots set if off at range? Would the shock still affect them, or would it block the tunnel, or would it just give them a chance to get out? "You did choose a formula that only you know how to set off, right?" Scrapper leans out to take a potshot at Jazz, as the autobot was looking at the explosives a little too oddly. I can't let us fail now!! Megatrons wrath would be the end of us all!

Outer Breach

Mixmaster looked over at Scrapper.

"Hmmm...now that would've been a good idea!" he said, chuckling.

At this range, his little concoction had every possibility of taking them out rather than some incoming, foolhardy Autobot. But the Constructicons were a team. One of the best, in Mixmaster's view. Bonecrusher quickly picked up the thought where Mixmaster had left it, and before long, there was an impressive steel and mineral barricade to further support the combustible mixture that Mixmaster had spread around the other breach. From the looks of it, they were safe. He couldn't say the same for the first stray Autobot who happened to get a little trigger happy too close to the chemical engineer's display.

"Good thinkin', Bones, heheheh," Mixmaster said before looking back at Scrapper. "There, one problem solved."

Bounce Chamber

Ramplate growled as Hardhead's weapon made a porcudroid out of his back, studding it with diamond shards that nearly pierced through his armor. Fortunately though, the plates held, while his shield took the brunt of the Smokescreen's weaponfire. Because the shield was just a chunk of metal, without an integrity field of its own, there was nothing to short out, and what energy made it through the dense alloys to the Decepticon's own hide just left a tingling sensation of static over his hull. Still, Ramplate was no fool. If it kept up, they'd find a way around his defences, which meant going with what he knew best....

How fortunate that one Autobot had his back turned to him...

Firing two more shots from his oversized shotgun at the Protectobots, Ramplate then dove to the side and slipped the gun away, deploying his mace instead before charging straight at Jazz and Blades, sweeping his weapon in low just as Lore-lock's bolt sliced a chunk out of his shoulder plate, marring the Decepticon insignia there and tearing off a good two foot thick piece of protective alloy.

Hound's illusion seemed to be believable to the grey-and-blue mech as well, but rather than move aside the tank-former merely lowered his shoulder, aiming to barrel through 'Springer' to get at his target... And when he went through, there was only an astrosecond to be confused before the glowing mace was swinging towards Jazz's back... Leaving the music-loving Autobot and his comrade with two options... Take the hit, or move closer to the Constructicons' barrier...

Bounce Chamber

Jazz was musing the situation before he looked over his shoulder to see Ramplate charging him with a mace swinging to smash his already damaged back.

Two thoughts raced through his mind, one was how much he loved Rock and Roll, the other was to improvise.

He did a backflip to tackle the burly gray and blue Decepticon tank with his feet, dodging the mace, and unknowingly dodging a pot shot from Scrapper.

He turned around midair to face the big 'Con, with his elbow pointed into the large Decepticon; his momentum combined with his weight should bring the destructive force down.

He shot his Ion Rifle and Flamethrower at Ramplate midair at the same time, hoping to do the most damage possible.

Outside the Breach

Skywarp scowled when Jazz averted his shots and was then a bit surprised to see the Autobot run directly at him. “So, you wanna fight hand-to-hand…” the teleporter began to say just as Jazz leapt over him and ran back through the breach and into the bounce chamber. ‘Warp spun around, surprised that his adversary had tucked tail and run off. “Hey! Where are you going, coward? Come back out here and face me mech to mech! Filthy slagger!”

Skywarp then looked up to see Thundercracker land and take up a position within the breach. Hearing his friend’s instructions over his comm line, the prankster jogged over to the blockade and took up a position behind the Constructicons and next to the blue seeker. As he took aim with his lasers, the mountain shook once again. The tremors seemed to be getting worse by the astrosecond.

“Sounds like the volcano is waking up,” Skywarp said, glancing in Thundercracker’s direction. “Best we seal these Autoscraps inside the base and let the mountain bury them alive.”

Bounce Chamber

Smokescreen frowned as his shots were easily absorbed by Ramplate’s shield. It was as he had feared when he first took the shots. Nevertheless, it had been worth a try if only to buy his comrades some time to react to the newcomer’s violent arrival.

The room then began to shake violently as the mountain continued to awaken under the intensity of the battle raging both inside and outside the base. The Decepticons had been foolish to build their headquarters within a volcano and now they were on the verge of losing their Earth-bound home. They would surely find someplace else, of course, but it would be at the expense of both energon and time.

Hearing Axle’s words to the Protectobots, Smokescreen knew right away that their situation was dire. The idea of being buried under molten magma did not sit well with him, not at all. It was a fate the Dinobots had known and not one to be repeated by any other Autobot.

Picking himself up off the floor, Smokescreen walked over to Hound, who had also survived being ‘fixed’ by Hex and was using a hologram of Springer to confuse Ramplate. But the large tank-former simply barreled through the illusion as Jazz then engaged the ‘Con. “Good try, Hound. Now, let’s get over to the breach. We’ll need your holograms to help us get through to the outside. This volcano is active again and we need to get out of here before the whole place comes down on top of us, which I’m sure is exactly what the Decepticons want.”

******

Hardhead ceased firing on Ramplate as he saw the large mech charging directly at Blades and the newly arrived Jazz. “Look out, guys! Tall, dark and gruesome coming your way!” The green warrior shouted to his comrades, but Jazz was already one step ahead of him, doing some kind of back flip before attempting to tackle the giant ‘Con.

Brave. Foolhardy, but brave, the veteran soldier thought before turning his attention back to the breach where he could see that the Constructicons had made their initial barricade larger and then reinforced it with a good amount of volcanic rock. “I guess they got tired of us running back and forth through the breach,” Hardhead muttered under his breath as he took aim once again. He stopped short of firing, however, when he remembered what Jazz had said just moments before. The white mech mentioned something about an explosive substance that Mixmaster had smeared all over the sides of the breach. And, sure enough, Hardhead could see some kind of goo covering the breach just in front of the reinforced blockade. “This isn’t good.”

Hardhead switched on his comm line to the other Autobots within range:

>>”There’s some kind of explosive substance covering the outer breach. I’m not sure how powerful it is, but one stray shot will likely detonate it. Be very careful!”<<

The war veteran then increased his signal’s output, hoping to reach Jetfire on the outside if he hadn't already.

>>“Jetfire, this is Hardhead. Change of plans. I need you to fire on the Constructicons and Seekers positioned at the outer breach. Try to force them to move further into the breach if you can. Maybe we can blow them up with their own volatile mixture!”<<

(OOC: In order to move things along I will be calling a hit on Prowl and moving Ravage along with Devastron’s permission)

Outside

Sideswipe stopped his advance with a degree of difficulty. He quickly looked at the club in his hand and noticed the button on his club was blinking in time with Space Case’s. There wasn’t enough time to get his opponent’s club, along with his, and get rid of them, so he opted to just rid himself of his own.

Flashing the Con one of his smug smirks he quickly yelled out, “Think fast!” and tossed his club to the idiot standing in front of him. With the explosive device finally out of his hands, Sideswipe tried to run for cover.

Command Center

Her weapons remained trained on Prowl’s visage as the strategist slowly released his grip on the black cassettecon panther. At the same time he switched off his headlights giving Ravage the opportunity to scurry off and readjust his sensitive optics.

Nightraven offered Prowl an angry sneer and a slight nod. Without removing her optics from the prone Autobot, Nightraven addressed Soundwave’s precious little kitty.

Ravage, return to your master. I shall handle things from here.”

Without a sound the black mech padded out of the Command Center and back toward the hanger where the Decepticon telepath was located.

Nightraven then carefully made her way to Prowl’s rifle and picked it up by the barrel. She stood back up and maneuvered herself over him, her sneer now replaced by an air of dread.

“Coming here was a big mistake, Autobot. You’re just lucky I was the one you encountered.”

With that she gripped the rifle with both hands and brought the butt of the weapon down hard on the side of the strategist’s head knocking him out. Nightraven let out an anguished sigh before she turned to the door and jogged out of the room, tossing the rifle as she went.

Corridors

With Prowl successfully taken out of the battle, at least for a little while, she was now able to focus on getting out of the base before the damned volcano erupted. The black seeker femme quickly opened an encrypted channel to her sister in an attempt to find out where the orange seeker was.

>>”Helly! We need to get out of here! What’s your status? Helly?! Hellion!”<<

Not receiving any response, Nightraven ran to the location she last saw her sister Please, Primus, don’t let her be offline. The last time she had been in this particular corridor it was filled with smoke thanks to that Autobot diversionary specialist, Smokescreen. Thankfully the sticky smog had lifted revealing a nearly destroyed hall.

She traversed the torn metal and wires that were littering the floor until finally she saw Hellion’s unmoving form. Nightraven’s optics grew wide as she quickened her pace. She knelt down beside her sister and took note of her injuries. Once she was satisfied that she was, indeed, still functioning, Nightraven let out a relieved sigh.

She took a few moments before she hooked her forearms under Hellion’s underarms and lifted the larger seeker’s upper body up off the floor. To her chagrin Hellion proved to be just too heavy for the lithe femme to hoist and carry out safely.

“Slaggit, Helly. Why in the pit did you choose to add so much armor?” …she managed to say through clenched teeth. Placing Hellion back down on the floor gently, Nightraven let out a heavy sigh. She needed to get Hellion and herself out of this place, but there was no way she could do it on her own.

The black femme took a look around and noticed that there was no way out of the immediate area leaving her with no other choice but to call someone for help, and she dreaded calling the only mech she knew that could help.

Nightraven looked down at her sister and quickly opened a private channel to Skywarp.

>>”Skywarp. It’s Nightraven. I need your help. Hellion’s in stasis and she’s too heavy for me to carry out of the base. I need you to teleport to my location, grab Hellion and teleport her out of here to a safe location….”<<

She paused for moment before she added, >>”…please, Skywarp. I want her safe.”<<

Bounce Chamber

As soon as Hex finished with his repair job on Hound and stood up he was forced back down by some random shots from the new comer, Ramplate. Slagger! Now safely pressed against the floor, Hex took a look at the large mech that entered the fray. Where do they grow these things? They hardly look Cybertronian.

His thoughts crossed his processor in only a matter of seconds, but they distracted him long enough to nearly miss the pained cry that came from behind him. The young mech quickly looked over his shoulder, his optics widening in disbelief. Axle had taken a shot to the shoulder, and the field medic was down on his side trying to clutch his wound.

Hex ground his teeth as the anger within began to boil, but instead of charging Ramplate, Hex retained some composure and quickly made his way to his guardian and friend to make sure he was alright.

“Axle! You okay?”

The medic hissed in pain and looked over at his ward, thankful that his unfortunate circumstance hadn’t caused Hex to try and run down the huge Con.

“I’m…I’m fine. Help First Aid get Hot Spot on my bed when I transform.”

Fighting the urge to refuse, Hex simply nodded. The medic forced a smile and quickly converted his body, albeit rather painfully, to his flatbed mode.

Hex looked to First Aid as he picked up Hot Spot from beneath his underarms leaving the Protectobot’s legs to his teammate.

“Crap! This slagger is fraggin’ heavy!”

Astrotrain had been following Soundwave and his minions for sometime when he suddenly faced a sight that made him feel very uneasy. Blitzwing, a fellow triplechanger and a warrior far more skillful than Astrotrain himself was partly lying on the floor, partly leaning against the wall, limp and motionless. Closer inspection revealed major damage to the back and chest of the commando despite it appeared that nothing had actually punctured through Blitzwing's body.

Kneeling down before his fallen comrade, Astrotrain made a quick scan to determine whether Blitzwing was still salvageable or nothing more than scrap metal to be recycled. To his relief, Blitzwing's sparkcore appeared to be intact, having gone through emergency shutdown.

Sighing heavily, Astrotrain scooped the weapons of the fallen triplechanger and attached them to a magno-lock on his waist before lifting up Blitzwing from the floor and positioned his limp form on his wide shoulders. Securing his ion-displacer rifle with his free right hand, Astrotrain set after Soundwave again, hoping to make it out of the trembling volcane before it erupted.

"I'd agree with your assessment of the situation 'Warp. But there's still too many of ours locked inside." Thundercracker replied to Skywarp and fired a series of incendiary rounds towards the cover he had seen Blades peeking out from.

"Soundwave is still somewhere there as few others. You think Megatron is going to forgive us if he looses them because we couldn't hold the line?" He added. "No."

"Use your abilities to evacuate our troops left behind and then we bury the Autobots." Thundercracker added and fired few more rounds towards Blades' position as Ramjet, Thrust and Dirge joined him at the barrier made by the Constructicons and began firing at the Autobot positions.

Ramplate had to compensate as his swing missed, and he felt Jazz's feet strike at his back while the mace struck the ground with a SPANG! The elbow didn't do anything but force the Decepticon warrior to brace his legs, staying up despite the blow. As he turned around though, Jazz's weapons caught him directly in the chest, the ion stream tearing a furrow in the armor down nearly to the frame while the flamethrower bathed him in yellow and orange wrath...

Wrath that the tank-former seemed intent on returning tenfold as he roared out his hate, swapping weapons again for the massdriver and lasers, filling the air with cones of razor sharp self-sharpening tungsten spray and pulses of deadly laser light, the flames licking at his torso making him look like something spawned from the Infernos of the Pit itself! First Jazz, then Blades, then Smokescreen would be the target of his fury, as he swept his weapon across the room...

Despite the seething anger though, Ramplate was no fool. Alone, he could still be ripped apart, so he switched on his internal comms to try and get through to the others around. >>"Decepticons, the Autobots have multiple wounded within the breach, it should slow them down... Jazz's only hope was to bring the large burly 'Con down, that, however, didn't happen.

Just go down! For Crying out loud! Jazz thought to himself.

Just then, Ramplate fired his weapons, the lasers clipping his shoulders, and one of the massdriver cones spliced along his upper torso, leaving a long scar that nearly hit his frame.

He called out in pain as the corresponding processors sprang into action, bringing him off of the blue 'Con, and into a crouched position on the ground behind Ramplate.

"You picked," He grunted as he stood up, "The absolute wrong 'Bot to pick on."

He pointed his Ion Rifle at Ramplate's knees.

"Better cut you down to size!" Jazz mumbled.

He fired his Rifle at the burly 'Con's knees, two at each. With any grain of luck, Ramplate's knees should buckle, bringing him down.

Blades couldn't take it any longer. The conflicts between Ramplate and several particular Autobots—Autobots he was supposed to guide to safety—had to cease. Little could be achieved against the Constructicons and their newly produced volatile structure, so the Protectobot permitted the Decepticon's bellicose entrance to occupy the bulk of his attention. Ramplate, with a tempestuous mixture of laser fire and streaking flames, appeared from out of nowhere, completely disrupting any designs Blades was about to set into motion. Who he was mattered none to Blades; what he would become was the more relevant concern.

He speared Ramplate with a prolonged gaze, his optics blazing with rage. Frag this and frag you, buddy. You want to come out of who-knows-where and ruin my mission? And parade around with a gun that creates nothing but a light show? You're scrap, you rust bucket!

Disassembling a single rotor blade from his back, the Protectobot fashioned the deceptive-looking weapon in his grasp, the smooth surface of the rotor reflecting gleams of light from it. Not only was this Decepticon encumbering Blades' exceedingly difficult task, but he had just contacted his fellow Decepticons to merge with him at his present location. If that were to occur—well... Blades' situation was already disastrous enough; he did not need any further complications injected into the equation.

Activating his form into motion, he approached Ramplate with brisk footfalls, intent on eradicating the tank-former with his rotor. “Move it or lose it, Jazz! I'm gonna wipe this fragger out!”

Ironhide didn’t have too much trouble dodging the big Decepticon’s charge. He wasn’t exactly quiet, smashing through everything in his path. The old security mech was quick to place himself between the wounded and the bots tending to them and the incoming fire. Ramplate’s weaponry wasn’t the strongest though, or the most accurate. His tactics seemed to be to rely on his bulk and noise to carry the day while using the ‘spray and pray’ method with his guns. It was pretty typical bully tactics of a Decepticon, the type of stuff that worked really well on rookies and non-combatants. Unfortunately for Ramplate, Ironhide was far from either of those things.

Still, Ironhide had other concerns. He had come along to rescue these Bots, and he’d be slagged before he failed in that mission. He listened in on all of the shouting and communications going back and forth and formulated a plan. >>”Alright Bots, here’s the plan. The Cons are expecting us to go out that breach, so we aren’t gonna do that. Hound can whip up some holograms to go through and we can detonate whatever goop they’ve sprayed out there with a laser blast. That’ll keep the Cons confused for a few minutes while we bust out own hole outta here. I figure between my ‘waterguns’ and all of the weapons the Protectobots and the rest of us are packin’ it shouldn’t be a problem. I’ll get us started and then move on to takin’ care of big and ugly here with Blades. Hardhead, you feel free to throw in too if it looks like we need ya, otherwise cover the rest of ‘em as the bust outta here.”<<

With the orders given Ironhide began to put his plan into motion. Sliding his hands into his arms he produced his chemical emitters. He sprayed a blast of concentrated acid on one of the walls adjacent to but far away from the breach. It rapidly began eating away at the metal, revealing the hallway behind it and hopefully what would be an outer wall they could smash their way through.

With that part set into motion it was time to take care of Mr. big, loud and noisy. Ironhide walked towards Ramplate, his fired bits of shrapnel and lasers bouncing off his tough hide, with the occasional hit scorching or nicking his armor. He had been in enough battles to know how to deal with these loud bully types. You just had to walk up and punch them right in the mouth, and that’s what he was going to do.

Out of the corner of his optic the security mech spotted Blades making a move towards Ramplate. Hopefully his attack would give the Protectobot an opening. Ironhide walked up to Ramplate and grabbed his gun, shoving it aside. “I’ve had just enough of you Deceptichump!” With that he launched a vicious uppercut at Ramplate’s chin with his right fist.

*

First Aid nodded at Axle’s assessment. “I think if we can get him back to the Guardian I can get him back up and running in time. The tough part is just getting him out of here.” The doctor hit the deck as Ramplate came blazing in, forcing Ironhide to protect him with his own body. The move was appreciated by First Aid, but made him wince at the same time. He was going to make sure Ironhide got a full repair treatment when they got out of here.

He grabbed Hot Spot’s feet as Hex grabbed his upper half. “Oh I know, this isn’t exactly the first time we’ve had to carry him off the battlefield, sometimes he’s even conscious and still insisting he can fight," he replied to Hex. He carefully placed him on the bed of Axle’s alternate mode. He then produced a can of hydraulic fluid from his repair kit and tossed it to Lore-Lock. “Hope that’s enough for now.”

It was then that the Protectobot received the signal from Ironhide. As far as he could tell it was a solid plan. He watched as Ironhide sprayed some acid on the wall to start their new escape plan. “Alright Axle, that’s where we’ll be going out. Now just let me add what little help I can offer.” First Aid transformed and fired his decrystalizer cannon at the second wall, weakening it. “Now we just need someone strong enough or well armed enough to blast through that weakened section and we are out of here.”

Groove and Streetwise moved to help Hound, Lore-Lock and Smokescreen get to the new opening, taking occasional shots at Ramplate and out of the original breach to keep the Decepticons busy.

Outer Breach

Hook rolled behind the improvised cover Bonecrusher had created for them. “Elegant as ever Bonecrusher,” he commented dryly. He knew the sarcasm was liable to fly right over the other Constructicon’s thick cranium. He peered around the cover and fired off a couple of shots before overhearing Mixmaster’s comments on his chemical mixture. “Ah, excellent. I’m glad to hear such information before I decided to return fire at the Autobots,” he sneered at Mixmaster. “Its only because of my precise aim that I didn’t detonate it already.”

*

Corridors

Soundwave came to a halt as another tremor shook the base. The continuing trend of these tremors was troubling. The base had already seen severe damage. It was possible that the detonations and energy discharges had affected the surrounding terrain as well. The volcano had registered as dormant when they had arrived on planet but they had never planned for a major battle to take place inside of it.

It was obvious now that the base would not survive this confrontation. There were too many variables at play for him to feel comfortable remaining inside of it. He altered his course and began making his way to the nearest exit, his cassettes, Ravage now joining them, trailed behind him. At the same time he sent a signal out to Megatron. >>”Megatron, volcano growing unstable. Likelihood of eruption: high.”<<

*

Slipstream saw Soundwave pause briefly before changing direction, heading for an exit. She was more then happy to follow him. While this might be home for some of these Decepticons it was just another backwater infiltration base to her. The sooner she was out of here the sooner she could be somewhere more glamorous and interesting.

*

Mountainside

Megatron grunted as Prime slammed into him. He quickly grabbed a hold of the Autobot leader, twisting himself around so that he guided both of them towards a wall of the base, smashing through it and back inside of storage room. The Decepticon leader pushed off from his Autobot counterpart, a sneer on his face.

“It will take far more then that to send me to the Pit Prime.” He smiled at his old enemy. “Even if you succeeded I would find a way out. I clawed my way from the very depths of Cybertron society to rule our people, to fulfill their rightful destiny as conquerors. You have proven only to be a stubborn obstacle in my path Prime, and once you are removed their will be no one to stop me.”

Megatron received the signal from Soundwave and quickly developed a plan around it. Should all else fail today, he would still be assured of putting an end to Optimus Prime one way or the other.

"Two can do that...wait. Maybe it's Two can play that?Whatever that saying is I can throw mine too." Space Case take his club and throws it towards Sideswipe...only for it to strike the other club. "Uh oh..." He is then caught in the explosion and goes flying back through a tree.

Mountain Side

Skywarp listened to Thundercracker as his buddy told him what he needed to do. The idea of using his teleportation abilities to evacuate the rest of the Decepticons still trapped inside the mountain was something that had not previously occurred to the prankster. Of course, why would it? ‘Warp wasn’t usually one to come up with such ideas as more often than not he needed constant supervision from his superiors to be completely effective at his job. Thankfully, he also had his blue friend to keep an optic on him and guide him in the proper direction.

“Good idea, ‘Cracker. I’ll get right on it,” Skywarp responded as he received Nightraven’s communiqué, calling for help. “Heh, looks like I’ve got my first customer!”

The teleporter then opened a comm line back to Nightraven: >>”No problem! I’ll be right there.”<< With his response given, Skywarp disappeared from sight.

Corridors

Skywarp reappeared beside Nightraven, who was standing over a stasis-locked Hellion. The concern on the purple femme’s face plate was obvious even to a prankster like ‘Warp. He actually felt a sense of sympathy for Nightraven which was something he rarely felt for any other mech even Thundercracker. But there was something about ‘Raven that had always attracted him to her even if she didn’t share the same sentiment back. ‘Warp was, after all, more concerned with playing pranks on others than caring about how they felt. Nightraven was different, though, and perhaps now was ‘Warp’s chance to show her that there was more to him than the immature prankster everyone wrote him off as.

Skywarp placed a gentle hand on Nightraven’s shoulder. “Don’t worry. I’ll get her out of here safely.” The teleporter gave her a wink before bending down and picking up Hellion in both arms. “Thundercracker wants me to get everyone out before the volcano erupts. That means you’re coming, too, Nighty.”

‘Warp moved in close to Nightraven, allowing his one good wing to come into contact with her slender shoulder. Without further delay, Skywarp and the seeker sisters disappeared from the wrecked corridor.

Mountain Side

Skywarp and the sisters reappeared outside a short distance down the hillside from the breach. He placed Hellion down on the ground before looking back up at Nightraven. “She should be safe here. I’m going back in to evacuate more of our troops. You can either remain here or reinforce our troops at the breach.” The teleporter then flashed a smirk at her before vanishing once again.

Corridors

Skywarp reappeared in a different corridor from before. Here he found Astrotrain carrying a deactivated Blitzwing while looking for an exit. “Okay, I’m your ticket outta here, Astrotrain. Hold on to Blitzy and we’ll be outside before you know it!” The prankster grabbed a hold of the triplechangers and teleported them to safety on the mountain side.

Bounce Chamber

Hardhead grew impatient as he waited for a response from Jetfire. Perhaps the scientist was in a dogfight with Starscream which prevented him from answering. Regardless of the situation outside, Hardhead wasn’t going to just sit around inside the enemy’s base and twiddle his thumbs, not while Jazz and Blades were engaged with a very large enemy in the form of Ramplate.

Thankfully, Ironhide had come up with a plan and quickly went to work on creating a new breach on a neighboring wall far down from the first breach. His acid emitters had succeeded in melting the bounce chamber’s wall while a follow-up shot from First Aid’s decrystalizer cannon had considerably weakened the second, outer wall.

Hardhead knew that he possessed the strength necessary to break through to the outside and thus his talents were wasted on providing simple cover fire as Ironhide had suggested. Therefore, the stubborn warrior looked around the room and found that Smokescreen was up on his feet again. “Hey, Smokey, I need you over here. Cover us while I go make us a new exit!”

Without waiting for a response, Hardhead moved away from the breach and headed across the chamber towards the weakened wall. Once there, the big mech backed up as far as he could and then charged straight ahead with all of the speed he could muster. As he quickly approached, Hardhead leaned forward and plowed head first into the damaged wall, smashing right through and onto the mountain side beyond. He stumbled a bit on the uneven ground, but managed to remain upright.

Light streamed in through the second breach as the green soldier turned back around and reentered the bounce chamber, brushing rock and dirt off of himself. “That’s why I’m called Hardhead,” he said, banging his head twice with his fist. “Now let’s get everyone out of here before we all end up as molten stew!”

******

Hearing Hardhead’s call for assistance, Smokescreen moved to the first breach where he took cover behind the fallen debris. Popping his cranial unit up for a moment, he fired off several shots at the Constructicons and Seekers that blocked their way from escaping. As return fire streaked back at him, Smokey ducked down and watched as Hardhead made short work of the weakened wall across the chamber. “Damn,” was all the Smokey could mutter under his breath at the sight of the big green goliath smashing through, allowing light to pour in from the outside.

Time to detonate that sticky slag the Constructicons smeared all over our original escape route, Smokescreen thought as he waited for his opening. When it came, Smokey popped back up and fired numerous shots directly at the edges of the breach, which quickly ignited Mixmaster’s volatile chemical.

“Fire in the hole!” Smokescreen shouted as an explosion erupted at the first breach, sending debris flying everywhere. The diversion expert dove to the side to avoid the direct force of the blast, but still found himself covered with bits of rock and metal. Nothing too damaging, however.

Smokescreen slowly got to his feet and stumbled over to Hardhead’s side, where he leaned his battle-damaged body against the war veteran for support. Looking at the newly formed breach, the diversion expert smiled. “So, that’s why they call you Hardhead, huh?” Smokey asked in a teasing manner. The green mech’s response was a simple nod followed by a wide grin across his face plate. “Yeah, well...” the red and blue racer continued as he motioned back towards all of the smoke and dust that surrounded the first breach. “That’s why I’m called Smokey.”

Outer Breach

Mixmaster brought both actuators up to either side of his auditory sensors as an explosion rocked the other side of the barricade that Bonecrusher had erected. Bits of debris had crumbled to the ground, but the barrier had held up, if only barely, given how hastily it had been thrown together.

“Ooooh…I wonder who bit the scrap on that one. Chaos chaos chaos, heheheh” Mixmaster chuckled, before beginning to spray a non-combustible concrete sealant in the cracks and other loose areas within Bonecrusher’s barricade.

His internal sensors informed him that his raw materials were beginning to run low. He made it a point to remember to refill on something—or someone—at his next available opportunity so that he could get his numbers back up to where they needed to be. Especially since their current location seemed to be drawing all sorts of unnecessary attention. Not to mention the fact that his sensors had also registered another tremor, one decidedly unlike what he had felt when the explosives on the other side of the barricade had been detonated. Surely he hadn’t been the only one that felt it. It would probably be a good idea to take the party somewhere else.

“Gotta go, gotta go, gotta go right now.”

Bounce Chamber

Ramplate watched as Ironhide made his way towards him, knowing that this was going to hurt. Ironhide had a reputation as one of the Autobots' true heavyweights, and as strong as the Decepticon was he knew that a fight with the old timer would not be in his favor. Regardless, it wasn't like he had much choice now. As he prepared to face off against the red-plated mech, Jazz's shot tore into his left knee from behind, causing the tank-former to stumble to his other knee in pain. He had just enough time to look up and see Ironhide's fist connecting with the faceplate of his helm, sending his optics out of focus for a moment, even cracking part of his jaw!

As awareness returned, he detected Blades coming up and him as well, and decided that desperate measure were indeed required. Ramplate let himself fall forward, then activated the anti-grav pods that made up his thigh and back components, feeling some of the diamond shards digging in as the vents switched open for a fraction of a second to send the 'Con slamming forward towards Ironhide at speeds similar to his vehicle form, hopefully sending both Decepticon and Autobot flying away from the other combatants. It caused vibrations to ripple through his superstructure painfully, but Ramplate hoped that this would work, as it also took him away from the wounded Hot-Shot, a plan the warrior hoped would mean that the 'Bots would focus more on escape than pursuing him. Ironhide was going to be enough trouble alone after all....

OoC: YEAH longest post ever! By the way, if carrying Prowl is illegal, tell me and the changes will be made, and you get to reserve the right to call me an idiot! Which I can goof up sometimes, so, be forgiving! :)

Bounce Chamber

Jazz was watching the hulking form of Ramplate, and not the Constructicon Barricade.

He listened in to Ironhide's plan, and gave him a quick nod of understanding. An explosion then followed, it was not Ironhide's punch, it was the C4 that had just exploded that Mixmaster had sprayed.

Jazz covered his head on the ground in a ducked position as the shrapnel and dirt covered his body. There was little damage, just simple denting and scratching of paint.

He stood up and looked around in the smoke and saw nothing, so he turned on his sensors to try to find where everyone. He found the Constructicons and the Autobots, but found one far off, it was Prowl.

>>Prowl is away, I'm going to go get him, just leave the door open, kay guys?<< Jazz said through the comm link to The Autobots at the doorway.

He jogged to, what seemed to be, the place where he had come into the Decepticon Base.

Glancing around he caught sight of a corridor that was consistent with Prowl's reading.

Thankfully, the smoke in this place was thin enough for him to be able for him to see.

Corridors

Jogging through the corridors, looking for any signs of the white mech. All hope seemed to be lost, but then as another tremor shook him to his frame, he caught glimpse of a white object out of the corner of his eye, it was Prowl! He lay slumped on the ground, unconscious, though still functioning.

"Jeez dude, what did you get yourself into?" Jazz said to him as he stuck his arms under the fellow Autobot's armpits, and lifted him, just enough for him to lay on his shoulder.

Jazz grunted under the weight of him as he stood up, another tremor, it was getting more frequent. The Volcano was waking up, with Jazz and Optimus Prime still in it!
Realizing this, Jazz put in extra effort to lift Prowl with all his might, and hurried him out of the corridors, and into the Bounce Chamber.

Bounce Chamber

Dashing through the chamber, Jazz carried Prowl through the chamber, servos creaking under the weight, and his wound leaking energon on Prowl.

Another tremor, now it was getting urgent that everyone (except Megatron, of course.) was to be evacuated. Immediately.

Straining to jog across the room, Jazz carried the unconscious white mech to the opening Ironhide and Hardhead had just created.

"*Whew* Hardhead, I could use a little help..." He said to the green warrior.

He managed to point his Ion Rifle at Mixmaster, and fired it three times at his barrel, with any luck at all, they would hit and explode the substance inside of him.

He felt Prowl's weight become more and more pronounced, so he put his other had to hold up the white mech.

"Now would be preferred..." Jazz said impatiently to Hardhead.

Sideswipe didn’t bother looking back once the club was out of his hands and headed toward Space Case; instead he kept low and dove behind a boulder when both clubs met in midair and exploded. Sideswipe managed to peek over his cover and see the outcome of the devastation and his opponent.

“Heh, never take on a real warrior,” he said under his breath.

When the dust finally settled Sideswipe stood from his hideout and tentatively made his way past the destroyed tree Space Case hit and on toward the Cons positioned at the breach.

Corridors

Nightraven let out a sigh of relief when she received Skywarp’s response. Moments later the black and purple Seeker appeared next to her and Hellion. The lithe femme watched as Skywarp gently lifted up her stasis locked sister with ease, but before she could express her gratitude he spoke up letter her know that he was evacuating everyone out of the base; her included. Nightraven opened her mouth to protest, hoping to stay behind and take care of at least one Bot in the base, but Skywarp had already moved in closer to her, his wing brushing lightly on her shoulder, and in a flash all three Seekers were outside the base.

Mountain Side

After the teleportation Nightraven placed her hand on her head while she tried to steady her balance. She was never privileged to be teleported by Skywarp before, and the after effect was possibly the one reason why she never tried it before. Once she regained her focus she looked down as Skywarp looked up at her; Hellion lay out carefully under a nearby tree.

Nightraven’s attention moved from her sister back to the male Seeker, and again, she opened her mouth to thank him, but he was already addressing her. She was only able to flash him a slight smile before he teleported back into the base. The purple femme knelt down beside the prone form of Hellion and took her limp hand into hers.

“Don’t worry Helly. I’ll make sure you’re fixed up as good as new. I promise.”

Bounce Chamber

Had he the ability Hex would have rolled his optics at First Aid’s response to his comment on Hot Spot. The young mech hefted the Protectobot leader onto the bed of his guardian’s alt mode and then stepped back to look at First Aid.

“Ah, so he actually is a slagger. Always nice to know.”

Axle groaned at Hex’s remark and quickly opened their private comm channel.

>>”Hex, you need to get yourself under control. We need to get out of this base post haste, and we can’t do it without everyone’s help. Now do exactly what I tell you, and if I hear so much as a snicker I’ll put you in stasis lock myself! Is that understood?”<<

The silver mech hesitated at first but finally gave in to the wishes of his guardian.

>>”Fine.”<<

>>”Good. Now get your aft out that breach and give me cover fire.”<<

Without a word Hex made his way to the opening and drew his rifle. He took a hesitant glance to make sure there were no Cons visible and then carefully stepped outside. With the sight clear Hex motioned for Axle to head out to a safe location.

The field medic made his way out of the breach and sped off toward secure location.

Outside the Interference Perimeter

A tower of light broke through the darkening sky only to touch the soft grass in the open field. Once the light dissipated a single form was left behind. The Autobot had grown uneasy when there was no word from the Bots he was assigned to. Before he bounced down to the surface he made sure to link the Guardian’s orbital bounce controls with his own systems.

Not wanting to waste any more precious time the tall slender mech quickly traversed the terrain. Once he came to a heavily concealed location he drew his sniper rifle and carefully took aim at the group of Decepticons near one of two perimeter breaches.

Perceptor opened an encrypted channel with First Aid.

>>”First Aid, it’s Perceptor. I’m located approximately two miles South-West of the Decepticon base. It looks like, at least from my location, Cons are trying to reorganize. Only one Constructicon seems to be making a hasty retreat. And if I’m not mistaken there has been another sizable tremor, but this one was unlike the previous ones. My suggestion: get out of there yesterday!”<<

Storage Room

Prime’s body collided with the side of the base causing both leaders to crash into a storage room. As his opponent pushed off of him, Prime also got back to his feet.

“You worked alongside many of those you and yours slaughtered. At one time you were a member of the same society as I was, but chose to answer the Senate with violence.”

Prime lunged at his enemy and gripped the Decepticon leader by the hands. Digging his feet into the plates that made up the floor of the chamber, Optimus Prime began pushing Megatron deeper into the chamber.

“I’ve listened to your rhetoric for far too many vorns now and I’m tired of it. Let’s bring this war to a close.”

Prime shifted his weight to his forward leg and quickly brought his rear leg up aiming his knee for Megatron’s abdomen. With any luck the hit would double the Decepticon leader over leaving him open for another attack.

What a frustrating episode it was proving to be. Not only was his advancing application for brutality disturbed by Thundercracker and the Coneheads, but Ironhide, emerging from somewhere within the Decepticons' habitable abomination, began conducting his own fists on Ramplate's features. Wait, where did he come from? A hole in the wall? Blades couldn't have conjured up a more bizarre series of events even if he were mad.

Ironhide's shot on the tank-former was still wicked, though. He did have to admit that much.

Positively needing to rid himself of the Decepticon jets' disagreeable company—particularly Thundercracker—Blades produced one of his “smart” rocket launchers, took aim, and fired. While a tremendous volume of abhorrence saturated his emotions for employing such a weapon, its capabilities would still yield the results he would be hoping for. It was just a shame he wouldn't be able to bask in the warm vital fluids of the Seeker's shattered form; destruction he would have been more than happy to manage. Oh, how Blades prayed that single rocket would annihilate Thundercracker into nothing more than particles drifting about in the atmosphere...

With events progressing as they were moments ago, Blades resumed his actions, committed to putting Ramplate six feet under. After all, teamwork was a vital component to the Protectobots' philosophy, and he would be there to assist Ironhide in taking down that big spawn of a glitch. Best teamwork assignment he'd had in a couple of vorns, he thought.

“Be right with you, Ironhide. Just make sure you don't hurt him too bad before I step in, all right? My fists are begging me to beat the slag out of some 'Con.”

The Breach

When Mixmaster's explosive goo detonated, the Constructicon barricade absorbed the blast well enough - protecting the Decepticons taking shelter behind it. However, the roof of the chamber they were in did not do as well. The explosion had immediately brought down considerable amount of rock and the cracks in the roof were a clear sign of what was to come. It was only matter astroseconds when the trembling of the mountain would cave-in the mountainside where the breaches were located.

"Did you hear that?" Thrust asked, getting freaked out by all the trembling of the mountain.

"Uh huh." Bonecrusher replied to the seeker's question. While not the smartest 'con around, demolitions were his specialty and he was more than proficient enough to suggest the next course of action for the others. "Hehe, it is going to collapse."

"Collapse?!" Thrust yelped, jumped up and rushed for the exit, only to be met by a blast straight through his canopy by Perceptor. With a scream of surprise and pain, Thrust fell down the mountainside with a smoking hole in his chest.

"Sniper!" Thundercracker bellowed just before being forced to dive behind the barricade due to a rocket fired by Blades. The situation had suddenly become very dire. The mountainside would collapse any moment now and they were also facing a sniper without any chance to take cover. They had no choice other than risk taking hits from the sniper or get buried in an erupting volcano. He just hoped that Skywarp had been able to get the 'cons deeper inside the base like Baneblade and Ramplate out as well. Forcing himself back to his feet, the blue seeker grabbed Ramjet who was standing next to him and still spraying laser fire into the chamber where the rocket had came from by arm and turned the conehead towards the exit. "Everyone clear out! Now!"

Glaring at Thundercracker angrily, Ramjet accepted the order. He hated being ordered around but he did understand the situation they were facing. Giving a nod, acknowledging Thundercracker's order - Ramjet took the point and charged for the exit with the other seekers and hopefully Constructicons too following his example before the mountainside caved-in on both them and the Autobots at the breach of their own.

The Breach

From out of nowhere, Mixmaster found himself tagged by some sort of ion shot. One of the energy clusters impacted with his abdomen, slamming the green mech against the wall behind him as every output reading within his optical systems went screwy.

He dropped to the ground even as his internal systems attempted to recalibrate themselves. He really hated ionized weapons and what they could do. That's why he typically stayed the slag away from Starscream and tried not to torque him off.

"Not....gruh....fun," Mixmaster groaned, attempting to push himself back to his feet. He quickly came to the realization that the tremors he'd felt before hadn't been just something out of his imagination. The Seekers were clearing out too. If that wasn't a good cue, nothing else would be. Staggering as he found himself standing upright again, the Constructicon chemical engineer did what he could to hurry off after the fleeing Seekers, still clutching his midsection as if he'd just ingested some form of low-grade energon. He stopped and looked back to make sure that Scrapper, too, was coming.

OOC: What a rush, but I have a feeling that things will get far worse, as it gets closer to a finale. Plus School is starting to dominate my time, as such I only get one day a week of personal webtime.

Bounce Chamber
Lore-lock caught the can of oil, First Aid tossed and gave it a gentle shake.
"It'll will do me just fine." The scout replied as he connected it to his hydraulic intake port. And now that his system was properly pressurized he quickly took stock of what was going on. The thing that caught his optics as critical was the hasty exit the cons on the other side of the breach were making.

So he crept towrds them just enough to be afforded a better view of the situation in that area. Scrap it all to Unicron! He thought and then opened up a general line to all bots he could.
>>This is going to be getting even harder. That explosive goo from Mixmaster, has completely destroyed any integrity of the ceiling over here. We desperately need to find an alternative exit and quickly.<<

He then moved just as carefully back into the fracas, taking careful aim at Ramplate's legs and feet with his cross bow. Ironhide and Blades may be more than capable, but long range support is generally accepted.
