Bounce Chamber
First Aid wasn’t able to make out Perceptor’s entire message through the interference, but it sounded like he was on planet now. Hopefully that meant he would help out with their escape. He would just have to keep his fingers crossed as he led the way out.
The doctor transformed and drove out of the breach. He led Axle down the mountain towards the spot where they had bounced in. Once they were clear he signaled the Guardian’s computer and watched as Axle and Hot Spot were teleported back up to the ship. He briefly considered going up with them, but he knew he would be needed to direct people to this location outside the interference perimeter.

Ironhide was knocked back by Ramplate’s sudden maneuver but he was quick to push off and away from the Decepticon. Before he could do anything else Skywarp snagged his opponent and teleported out. He frowned at the now empty spot Ramplate had occupied. A good part of him had wanted another shot at the overgrown goon, but he knew they needed to get out of her as soon as possible.
The room was rocked by the detonation just outside of it, followed by more rumbling from the volcano. Ironhide saw Hardhead helping Jazz with Prowl. Groove and Streetwise were move quickly with Hound, taking him out the new opening even as he kept up holograms covering their retreat. The security expert grabbed a hold of Brawn and Lore-Lock, pushing them to the new breach as the cassette followed. “Get out of here now! This place ain’t gonna last much longer!”

Corridors
Blaster was rocked on his feet by an explosion from around the corner. “Well Sunny, if I had to guess those tunes would be provided from our pals inside the base. Think you can help me lay down some fire while we make a break for it to join them.
Sunstreaker groaned, his body still supported by Blaster. He lifted his gun in his undamaged hand. “It isn’t going to be accurate, but I can shoot.”
Blaster smiled at the warrior, hefting his electro-scrambler gun. The two Autobots turned the corner and opened fire on the Constructicons as they picked their way through the wreckage.
After hustling the other Autobots out Ironhide poked his head out of the original breach. His optics widened as he spotted Blaster and Sunstreaker fighting their way over to him. “Ahhh scrap, guess we aren’t outta the fire yet.” The Autobot switched his hands for his chemical emitters again and shot a spread of liquid nitrogen at the charging Constructicons. “Come on Blaster, move it! I only got so much of this stuff to fire!” He did his best to douse the floor and debris with the spray, giving it all a nice layer of ice that would hopefully slow down the Decepticons.

Hook wasn’t especially thrilled at the idea of charging at incoming Autobots. Maybe the likes of Bonecrusher, Scrapper of even Long Haul were built for that, but he was suited to more delicate work. He belonged in a lab, or at the very least a garage, not in a rapidly deteriorating battlefield. Still, this didn’t seem like a good time to argue. He transformed and drove behind Scrapper as they charged the Autobots.
At least he tried too until he hit a patch of ice created by Ironhide. He let out a yelp as he started to slide. He transformed and slammed into some debris. “This has not been my stellar cycle.”

Blaster spotted Ironhide urging them on and smiled. “Looks like we got a ticket out of this joint pal and that’s fine with me. This show was getting a little too loud even for me.” The Autobot dragged Sunstreaker towards the opening. He grunted as he took a couple of hits from Constructicons, but he pushed Sunstreaker ahead into Ironhide’s waiting arms. He then leapt through the breach himself, narrowly avoiding Scrapper’s shovel in the process.

Bounce Chamber
Ironhide dragged Sunstreaker away from the breach as Blaster dove through. He led both of the Autobots out through the new opening. “Blaster, can ya raise Prime for me? I ain’t gonna leave here until I’m sure he’s out and safe.”
The three Autobots were making good time as they both helped carry Sunstreaker down the mountain. “I’ll give it a shot Ironhide. The interference isn’t quite so bad out here so I might be able to punch through.”
>>”Blaster to Optimus Prime, I’m hear with old Ironhide. We’ve got all of the bots out of the base but we wanted to make sure you were heading for the exits too.”<<

Outside the base
One of the emergency hatches popped open and Soundwave climbed out, followed quickly by Slipstream. The two Decepticons jogged away from the base as the ground shook again.
Soundwave was becoming increasing concerned about Megatron. He had not seen or heard from his leader in some time and the situation was becoming increasingly dire. As Slipstream transformed and rocketed up into the air the communication’s officer signaled his commander again. >>”Megatron, situation is critical and Decepticons and Autobots are both withdrawing.”<<

Storage Room
Megatron grunted as Prime kneed him in the midsection. He did his best to recover, slamming his shoulder into Optimus and sending them both to the ground. Megatron staggered up to his feet as quickly as he could.
“Finally we agree on something Prime! This war will end today, it will end with your destruction! And your hapless Autobots hunted down and wiped out!” As he spoke he signaled Soundwave. >>”Acknowledged Soundwave. Issue the emergency recall order to the Ultrax. I will join you shortly, once Prime is dealt with.”<<
The Decepticon leader then sent out a second signal, to the base’s main computer. While damaged, it was still active and responded. It deactivated all safety measures around the base’s powercore and began overpowering it. It was the standard method of self destruction for Decepticon bases.
Megatron laughed, “Enjoy these last few moments Prime, as they will be your last and they herald in my final victory!” He lashed out with his energo mace once more at the Autobot’s head, aiming to just keep him occupied long enough to make sure the detonation consumed him as he teleported to the Ultrax.
