Dino survived in the movie. In the novel, Starscream killed him while chasing Sam and in the comic he died instead of Cue.G1 Smoketreader wrote:
The four Autobots were Cue, Bumblebee, Sideswipe and Dino. Sideswipe and Dino were just in the background and never focused on.
