Here's my latest, Beast Wars Season 1 Deluxe Airazor. I just finished her up tonight. She's a kitbash using the body (most of it at least :P) from Transmetal Airazor, the head from the TFCC exclusive Airazor (with some modifications) and the beast mode head from the original BW Basic Airazor. I also used some thick plastic twist-ties for the 'tubes' on her waist.:

Sorry about some of the images being sideways, for some reason Imgur saw fit to rotate them :(.

Now that's a purdy birdy.

The feather effect on her is eerily realistic. I hope you didn't go chop up a dead kestrel you found lying in your backyard for this kitbash. :P

Beautiful custom. Keep it up!

Hehe, no birds were harmed in the making of this custom :P.

I think that's pretty much it for the Beast Wars. Now that Smokescreen is done for TF: Prime, I'm not sure what other customs to do. Perhaps the upcoming Beast Hunters figures will need some tuning assuming any of them don't quite jive with their onscreen appearances.

Hmmm, how about BW Megatron? His legs look kinda short for his onscreen render--could be mistaken, as it's been a long time since I last watched the show.

Nah, Megs is good. I got the TrU exclusive one and all he needed was a bit of black on one of his bot mode arms. Everything else was pretty spot on. Transmetal megatron needed his bot mode limbs and torso painted black and a bit of shiny red on the sides of his head in bot mode and that was pretty much it (though I also modified his hand so that he can hold the Golden Disc ;)). I also modded his tail so that it looks like his arm is shoved into it instead of holding a handle (more like it looks on the show). For Transmetal 2 Megs I added a bit of yellow paint here and there and painted his beast mode eyes the right colors. I also painted his head and the covering for his head (the clear visor) to make them look more like on the show and also replaced a lot of the yellow on the dragon torso with red and painted the claws on his feet black.

It does sound like you've run out of challenges to overcome for now.

Feels lonely at the top, doesn't it? :P

BTW, that Transmetals Megs you modded sounds awesome. Did you post it on the forum before?

Speaking BW Megs, I've always wondered if it's possible to cover him with a rubber "skin" from, say, one of those Jurassic Park dinosaur toys (which I know are long since discontinued and probably out of scale). The shiny plastic in T-Rex mode just doesn't sit right with me.

Most of my Beast Wars stuff can be found in this thread. That was before I did the hand mods though. The Ravage in there has since had some paint work done to make him more show accurate as have a few of the others. I might update that thread eventually with new pics if I ever get around to taking them.
