I hope this comes to fruition. I need a reason to not get that Megatron. He would look great standing next to straxus on my shelf. I'll probably end up getting the Megatron version as soon a s I see it though, because I'll get all excited.

I was thinking the same. It doesn't bother me so much in terms of toys, but in the fiction, that shouldn't happen.

What if they wrote that Shockwave used Dreadwing as a template for Megatron's reconstruction?

I would buy that. It would still seem like Shockwave would do something unimagineable to Dreadwing afterwards to, but minor gripes I suppose.

This is perfect!
I quite like the new Megatron design and the figure that it's spawned, but I'm a little disappointed in the size considering it
is Megatron. A Dreadwing repaint would solve this problem perfectly.

I don't really like this because it cheapens the design of megaton. Oh here's the awesome improved Megs! Hes so awesome and unique! Oh wait no. He isn't there another guy with thr same awesome body. It makes this megaton seem less awesome to me. Logical repaint for a toy. Bad idea in fiction.
