We need a LOT more information to determine if that was a good price or not.

First, what did you pay? $1.99? $199?

Next, was it loose or packaged? If it was packaged, was it sealed? If it was loose, was it complete? Did it come with all accessories? Instructions? Box?

Finally, what condition is it in? Any broken parts or scratches? Are the joints loose or tight? Is any of the plastic discolored?

On eBay, you can get a loose one for $50, while sealed ones go for $125-$200.

1.99- He's loose, unfortunately missing some parts and pieces but not in bad shape.

$1.99? Geez, why'd you even ask? Of course you didn't pay too much! I can't even get a slice of pizza for $1.99 anymore.

I was being facetious. He was just sitting there on a toy rack in a thrift store so I adopted him. I will probably list him on eBay and start him at 1.99, see where it goes.

"Robots in Disguise" appears on the packaging of many lines of TF figures, because that's the catchphrase for the entire toyline. Nobody calls the Cybertron line "Cybertron Robots in Disguise". It's just "Cybertron". Yes, they added it to the Prime line as well, and we collectors use the term "PRID" to differentiate it from the Prime First Editions, although even that is unnecessary because if you just say "Prime" people know which line you mean.

The only line that we call "RID" is the "RID" line, which didn't have any other name. It was simply the "RID" line. So when someone says "Cybertron RID" it's confusing because it sounds like they're talking about two things.

But what if someone wants to call it Cybertron RID?

No, they fold back for transformation. He probably didn't bother to lift them up.

I did it. I listed him as an auction which I don't do much so consider yourselves privileged. Anyone who wins and references this website to me will get 50% off of the shipping costs. Anyways good luck and enjoy the sale.

Even with missing parts, nice find, especially for $1.99!

I'm gonna have to start a thread of the Transformers I find at thrift stores- Goodwill in particular seems to be a gold mine for this type of thing. I just found a deluxe leader class Starscream the other day as well. People buy their kids these things and when the brat outgrows them I guess they figure they aren't worth keeping.

Golly, we sure are "privileged." You start a thread just to brag about buying a $2 toy at a thrift shop and reselling on ebay instead of enjoying it or selling it at a fair price here on the forum.

I totally should have paid admission to this thread.

#sarcasm

Well done.

Actually, a starting bid of $1.99 isn't bad. It's certainly the lowest starting bid at this time. I will laugh my ass off if someone gets it for $1.99.

If my friend hadn't given me his Unicron Trilogy collection I would have bid $2 for an extra one to let my daughter play with.

I wouldn't have even replied in the thread but he says "privileged" without an emoticon as if he's serious. Soooo had to respond lol.
