Hello everyone!

I have been lurking on seibertron for some time now, and finally decided to join. I found the site very informative and in all a great community.

After more than a decade I decided to go to the house basement and open the big box with my name on it, containing lots and lots of toys, mostly MOTU and some transformers as they were never that popular in my country, but my dad always brought one home from his bussines trips.

After some digging i found him, Snaptrap in all his glory! I managed to salvage all of his accessories : gun, sword, chestplate, extra feet and head for Piranacon, I gave him a good bath and he almost looks as good as new, except the stickers wich are mostly worn out or half scratched off.

I also found his instruction booklet wich is all colored out

Unfortunately no box, but I do remember it, it was my favourite transformer for it was a decepticon. I was always kinda on the evil side as a kid.

So now that i saved him im thinking of completing the set with other seacons, this might be my first project as a collector and a first step.

A time to put away childish things? I do not agree.

Piecing together a combiner is fun, you can get one piece at a time and appreciate it, and then eventually you'll have the big combined bot.

welcome to the site. i am really new on here also, and i am amazed at the amount of information that is available on this site. it's almost ridiculous how much knowledge some of the members have, whether it be concerning Transformers or any other type of important toy. it's really impressive, and the whole group seems to be as nice as can be! sorry, just wanted to throw in my two cents there. also, the galleries are awesome and have answered quite a few questions i've had.

Zl33, I had Snaptrap growing up. One of my favorites. I had never seen a mean looking turtle before. Despite his pink and teal color scheme, he still looked great. I wish I knew what happened to him (and the rest of my TFs, for that matter).

Ah, the Seacons. I didn't even know they existed until I dug out MY old TFs and started completing my G1 combiners. But when I found all of the Seacons, Piranacon became my favorite of the bunch. Good luck completing him and have fun!

Welcome to Seibertron. I have to agree with you on the vast fount of knowledge available here, it's amazing and so are the people. As for Snaptrap, I miss mine. You're right he was a great figure. I also want to wish you the best in your collecting endeavors, May the Transformers Gods smile upon your wallet and your collection and your wife never find out where the thousands a year really go.

Once I found this place I pretty much stopped going to other TF sites altogether...Even if some bit of news pops up at another site first, it will show up here seconds later
