I saw an ad at a local video store saying DOTM will be available to own on Sep 29th. Is anybody tracking this? Also I wonder why it hasn't been made into a bigger deal here or elsewhere. I figured with that being three weeks away people would be talking about it non-stop (debating special features, deleted scenes, etc.) What's your all's take?

I just know I'm waiting for the trilogy box set. Bay isn't going to eat all my money like Jackson did with his dvd sets of Lord of the Rings.

That's a Thursday. I thought new releases come out on Tuesday. And besides, I heard it comes out at the end of November, which would make a lot more sense.

There's a trilogy box set due for release on Nov 2nd. I'll see if I can acquire one of the ads and scan it on here. But it said Sep 29th. I know, I was a little shocked myself. But I do recall someone reporting that it was possible DOTM would be released sometime in late Sep. This has been a month ago or so.

Also don't be too rattled by the Thursday release date. Here lately several major movies have been released on Thursdays (or even Fridays). Deathly Hallows Part 1 comes to mind, which I believe had a Thursday release date as well. The only reason I remember is because it caught me off guard as well. X-Men 1st Class comes out tomorrow- which is a FRIDAY. Who knows what they're thinking?

Anyways, my wife hasn't been able to see DOTM yet so the sooner it hits video the better.

Just seen a commercial for the date Sept 30th....
