Dreaming up the Movie Game

What do you wish the game would have based on what we already know? The Activision crew seem to be big Transformers fans, so we can expect things which would definitely appeal to us.

I'm praying for not just extra skins for the characters, but perhaps a few G1 frames, playing as the "Real" Prime or Megatron, Starscream or Bumblebee.

Some soundtrack music thrown in as extras like on the initial PS2 game, maybe clips from earlier series like Beast Wars or something.

Hell! Some Beast Wars characters would be awesome (at least in their transmetal forms so they're still vehicles).

I'm seeing Starscream with a Waspinator Skin...

What do you hope'll be in it?

I just hope it lives up to my expectations. Having the creators of Spider-Man 2: The Movie game and LEGO: Star Wars behind it is a serious plus. One is experienced in huge city sized open environments and the other knows how to make an insanely fun yet easy to play game.

And Travelers Tales has a nack for adding tons of extra features to keep you playing the game. They're the only company to ever get me to finish a game to 100% completion because the extra tasks were fun to do.

I am also expecting some great suprises from TT. They are one of the best game designers ever by far. I especially love their work on X-Men Legends.

They churn out mainly licensed shit, with the odd gem thrown in. Hardly makes them one of the best game designers ever.

Ever heard of Treasure?

Or even Clover?

No, afraid not :-x Yeah, I suppose they are known for working on licensed trademark games, but they have some genuinely good games. I personally have not played LEGO Star Wars, but my little sister has and it looks pretty good.

EDIT: I made a mistake. TT did not help develop X-Men Legends. For some reason I had them confused with Raven.

I got a posting error lets try this again. I'd like to see G1 skins. No Beast wars this time a 300 pound gorilla in the middle of LA traffic doesn't make much since or disguise. Also How about some Cybertron Missions. Some G1 commercials. And some inside Jokes.
My gamer tag is PHATEGODPRIME Im too lazy to put the little fancy one here.

Anyone who thinks there will be other 'skins' is insance - this game will be movie, pure and simple.

Why? Because the G1 cash cow is to be milked another day....

I dunno about that. TT and Activision love putting tons of extra crap in their games. Maybe no skins but you can bet there will be side missions or something where you have to save an old red and blue semi from falling off a bridge or something. If they can throw nostalgia in to get more people to buy the game they'll surely do it.
