A stealth bomber?

Maybe I'm just not cynical enough, but I'm willing to listen to these fellas for now. After all, there have been two ultra/leader sized Megatrons in the past 4 toy lines, albeit repaints. Considering how much Hasbro is investing in the movie line it's not unbelieveable that they could have two leader-sized Megatron figures with another one out later in the year. Rest assured, the stuff we've seen so far is really just the first couple of waves.

Folks at DM.net talking about a F-117. It seems to have come up a few different times. Hmmm...

Does anyone else here think it's mildly alarming that all of us could be looking at Megatron's alt mode and debating over what it looks like/supposed to be?

What if Megatron would happen to get an alt-mode during the epilogue of the movie. Like say the Autobots are thinking they've finally seen the last of Megatron, and the last thing we see before the credits (or maybe even after the credits are done)...a stealth bomber flies into view and transforms into Megs, quoting something like "I still function". This could help establish the sequel.

How many people are going to stay until the credits are over just in case they added something there?

I'll probably stay till the next showing just to be sure

I usually sit through the credits just in case they stuck something in at the very end.

Seems to be the thing to do in the big movies now a days. Alas, it will no doubt be something super lame.

I vaugely remember already talking about this in the first news article that was made about IGNs press release. It went up at the same time the original story did. As I said in the other thread (about this very same topic) I am very weary of what Megs earth mode really is. I'd like it if he was a Stealth bomber, as they are fantastic looking machines. To be honest I could see him being more of a rail gun or something like Galvatrons cannon mode. I haven't read the script, so I could be swinging at the ground here. Meh' I can wait a few more months to find out for myself.
