eBay Seller; whatever!

So, I purchased five NES games off of eBay last weekend. I paid for First-Class shipping, $10.99, a fifth of the overall amount that I paid to this seller. In the auctions he specifically put that the packages would be received 2-4 days from payment and I live in the state right next to his.
They finally got here today. It took a week. I gave him neutral feedbacks stating how it took a week. He left me three negatives stating how I was whining about how it took a week.
I'm not one who usually cares about stuff like this, but I paid $10.99 for shipping and handling.
After leaving the three negatives he then sent an email "explaining" himself and sent the mutual feedback removal.
I sent him a reply: here is the reply.
The items in quotation marks are what he wrote in his email and the underlined parts are my replies to each section of his email. Any comments or comparable stories are welcome.
Tom,
I have gone through your message and have written my own comments. In no way is any of this written in anger, but it is my opinion and, as a customer, I do hope you read through it with an open-minded view. Any opinions stating my thoughts on your point of view of the situation are only my own assumptions by trying to put myself in your shoes. If I am incorrect, then I do want you to know that my remarks do not mean any disrespect.
"I believe it was a misunderstanding as you may have been under the assumption 1st-Class mail applied to multiple purchases - We shipped all of your games together in a Box weighing more than a pound, 1st-class mail with the Post Office only applies to packages under 1lb in weight. "
Either way I paid $10.99 for shipping and handling and should have gotten more from that amount.
"Considering your zip code, we shipped it parcel knowing it was take the *exact* same amount of time to arrive as it would first class (2-5 days) which it did."
No, it didn't it took a week, which is longer than advertised. I am not one that would have a problem with this except that I paid $10.99 on shipping and handling.
"3 Negative feedbacks have been posted on your account - I do believe this was an honest misunderstanding and I'd like to keep this a successful transaction."
If you truly wished for this to remain a successful transaction, then why not discuss it with me prior to leaving me negative feedbacks.
"I sent you a mutual feedback withdrawal that will remove the Negatives/vice versa considering it's unmerited for us as well as yourself."
Tom, I'm not one to point fingers in anger or anything, but if you were in my position you might see this in the same manner as I do. Given that the majority of my actions on eBay are as a buyer and you are a seller, non-positive feedback hinders your actions as a seller more than my actions as a buyer. You wish to remove the feedbacks from both of our accounts, so that it doesn't hurt your overall business. You no longer care about me as a customer because you have ruined me doing more business with you by giving me those negatives and now you only care about other potential customers.
"To show you we value your business, I'll send you out a free game of your choice from our $3 or Less category in our eBay store."
I do not even care to look at your list of $3 games, if you wish to give back the $10.99 to my account on Paypal, then I will gladly use the mutual feedback withdrawal to remove the feedbacks.
