Easy. Let's bring that down a notch, please. Your use of pathetic was absolutely unnecessary, here.

The point stands though. Let's imagine someone shot them self in the foot. What is the rational response?

a) "OUCH! JEEZE! I better go to a doctor!"

b) "OUCH! JEEZE! That really hurt! Better shoot my other foot and my unoccupied hand too."

If you chose b) then you've voided your right to complain.

Right on. Painting one as the emotionally hurt fanboy is only a valid strategy when you're doing it to someone who didn't like the movies. Everyone knows that only people who didn't like them are some how irrational and stupid, and could never, ever have valid reasons for not liking them. Those fools and their "opinions," bah.

Most of the critics where. They never explained their reasons for not liking the movies. They just called them "loud". Which means nothing. And the "facts" they gave for their reasons for not liking the movies where invalid because they obviously weren't paying attention to the movie at all. I can understand people not liking the movies, but critics who bash the movies and their fanbase because they failed to pay attention, and just because the movie has a certain director's name stamped to it, that pisses me off. Then their opinions rub off on the audiences. And they fail to pay attention, thinking that what the critics said was pure truth, when it wasn't.

I'm fine with Ehren Kruger returning. I liked DOTM, so I'm cool with it. As far as the haters go its like the old saying goes.. Haters gonna hate. One thing people need to realize..

Movies are not made for fans. There made for everyone else. This has been the going formula since.. well, comic books and 80's cartoons have been turned into movies. That's how it is, thats how it always will be. The sooner you accept this, the sooner you can go about your life.

As far as a re-boot goes i have yet to have anyone give a solid reason why we should have a re-boot this early in the game. Non, zip, nada.
