Everything was chill till I saw Spike's face on Page 8. *cringe*.

I don't see any logic in Prowl breaking cover for a decepticon...

this series really has my interest.
loved that part w/ prowl at the end! being able to set aside factions for moral right and wrong.

This seems good so far. And the art really doesn't seem so bad either.

The story unfolding in the preview is interesting. I'd like read the rest of the issue when it comes out.

Oh come on... PROWL of all mechs wouldn't be charging in to save a Decepticon. He would LET the humans kill Breakdown for him. This is especially jarring after Roche's hit portrayal of him in his Coda story.
Suddenly, I've lost a lot of confidence in Costa.

I was thinking the very same thing. A seemingly very unProwl-like decision.

Also, is it guilt that is making Prime keep the Autobots on Earth? One would think there is bigger fish to fry in the universe with the Decepticons on other planets or finding a way to fix Cybertron or mining Ore-13 for themselves.

I'm getting a Kiss Players vibe from this. What with the anti-TF movement and such.

The art is actually pretty cool. Prowl's face, when he transforms, isn't as devilish as I've been expecting - just focus and determined looking. I get the impression that Skywatch have been escalating their actions to specifically antagonise the Autobots to try and draw them out - I think the execution of Breakdown (despite the fact that he's a Decepticon) is the last straw for Prowl. The Autobots have always been about protecting life (even if it is one of the enemy) and the feelings of frustration to do something other than just wait around and twiddle one's thumbs would be getting pretty intense after 2 years of hiding.
I reckon the ongoing is really going to rock my cotton socks and I'm looking forward to it!

LOL Either it's a plotline (TFs losing their marbles) or Don wasn't paying attention to the script.
On another point, I think if the TFs lost the "teeth" then they'd lose a lot of that "evil skeleton face" look.
