Didn't see a topic on this, but according to news over on TFW05 the encore minibot set is not the bots we originally thought they would be. Instead of Powerglide, Warpath, Cosmos, and Huffer it's going to be Swerve, Outback, Tailgate, and Pipes. Disappointing.

I don't find that disappointing at all. I'll gladly get a second Bumblebee to have Swerve, Taigate, Outback & Pipes.

I was just really looking forward to Powerglide and Warpath they were my favorite minibots as a kid.

I was really wanting Powerglide, Cosmos & Warpath.

Dammit... I don't own any G1 minibots so I'll still happily get this set but I'm dissapointed Takara misled us like that(with the blacked out silhouette pictures).

Hopefully and future Encore release will have Powerglide, Cosmos, Warpath, Beachcomber and Seaspray - they are the ones I most want.

This is indeed good news for me since I already got the first TFC Minibots. Although, I wish they include Beachcomber or Seaspray over a reissue Bumblebee again.

From pic, it looks like that's a keychain Bumblebee.

I like the news, hoping for a Hubcap among the group... and Brawn still has yet to go anywhere but key chain re-issue.

I guess it is good news. I'll newsify if there is another source to back you up.

According to an Online retailer Red Mercury the lineup for the Encore minibot re-issue set has changed.

It was previously thought this set would include many of the minibots re-issued in the Transformers Collection Set of a few years past.

However, Red Mercury's web page shows a new picture with G1 Pipes, Tailgate, Swerve, Outback, and the Bumblebee with the remolded head.

Is this indeed the new lineup, or just another rumor? Which group will prove to be released in the final set, or will it be a mixture of the two? Check out the new picture here!

Since I already have the TFC set, this is good news for me. Hopefully we can get confirmation as to which set is being released.

I really hope this isn't true. I really want the Bumblebee but I have no interest at all in those other ones. I thought the point of encore was to re-release popular characters. If so, then why these minis?

If this is the lineup then I'm going to look into getting the previous reissue set and cancel my preorder.

i also want warpath etc, why get everyone thinking you are releasing one set, then change it to a set people hardly know

If you want those figures, such as Warpath and Cosmos, try to get the Takara reissue book box. I just got it yesterday. This set has the new/cartoon Bumblebee head.

I didn't own any of the originals except for Cosmos, but I did get Outback, Tailgate, and Pipes as a kid. I had been looking at different auctions for them, so this will save me having to go that route if true. Guess I'm in the minority, but I actually prefer them to Brawn, Windcharger, and Huffer.

As someone who needs Tailgate, Pipes, Outback, etc... but has the original minibots reisuue, I am happy about the change.

I'm pretty happy to hear these are new reissues instead of previously released stuff. Now if they can finish out the mini-bots, that'd be nice. I need Seaspray and Beachcomber still.
