Ending Scene and Credits from Transformers Fall of Cybertron

For those of you who are enjoying Transformers Fall of Cybertron and like spoilers, a video of the final scene has been uploaded to Seibertron.com's YouTube account. The game culminates in epic fashion as it leads to a massive battle between Optimus Prime and Megatron on top of the Autobot's ship The Ark. You get to choose whether you play as Megatron or Optimus Prime but the ultimate outcome is the same.

In addition, the final credits have also been uploaded to Seibertron.com's YouTube account. While nothing storywise happens during or after the final credits, High Moon Studios takes a moment to have some fun with some key Transformers characters from the game throughout the credits. The credits roll out to the tune of an updated version of Stan Bush's "The Touch" while Metroplex, Soundwave, Bumblebee, Jazz, Cliffjumper, the Dinobots, and the Insecticons have a little fun.

If you are playing Transformers Fall of Cybertron, please make sure you stop by Seibertron.com's video game forum to share your thoughts about this game. In addition, please make sure you post your progress in the game in the Fall of Cybertron game progress topic.

High Moon Studios really knocked this awesome game right out of the park. Hope you're having as much fun as I did. Enjoy!

Just finished the game and it was a disappointment, the story was great and all but the game itself was pretty lame. First off it was shorter than WFC, WFC took me 12 hours to finish the first time FoC took 8, theres no replay value (dont even feel like playing it again just to play it again), playing as bruticus was horrible and slowed down the pacing of the game way to much and grimlock was no better, switching up game play in each chapter was a good idea but you have such little time with each character that by the time you get the hang of it your off to the next guy, plus you spend such little time with each character you dont get attached to them at all, some of the voice acting choices were horrible (shockwave for example), no exploration & most areas seemed cramped, combat didnt feel as good as it did in WFC (passable but not perfect), then tack on the glitches and lame multiplayer and i feel it was a waste of $60. The first game felt fluid and like they had a plan this one felt like they didnt know what they wanted to do, its like FoC has ADD or something. Very let down with this game & now im going to be very very weary about buying games from HMS. Maybe they should just stick to writing cause that seems to be what they're good at. Knew i should've got darksiders 2 or dragons dogma.

It's amazing how different views about the same product can be. This game brought me out of my game funk. I haven't played a game start-to-finish since 1997 or 1998, whenever Resident Evil 2 came out for the PS1. Some of the very things that you mentioned that you disliked were things that really brought me into this. The choices of characters to move the stories along was one of my favorite parts about the game. The thought that went into making each chapter a unique character driven story that was part of a much larger and epic storyline really made me feel like I was part of the story ... that I was an integral part of moving the story forward. I couldn't wait to get to the next chapter.

Big gaming sites gave it positive reviews as well ...

Maxim 3.5 out of 4 stars
http://www.maxim.com/gaming/the-gaming- ... -cybertron

IGN gives it an 8.5 out of 10
http://www.ign.com/videos/2012/08/23/tr ... deo-review

GameInformer gives it a 9 out of 10 (and their user's reviews gives it a 9.5)
http://www.gameinformer.com/games/trans ... hings.aspx

Just goes to show that you can't please everyone.

Thought it was one of the best 360 game I've ever played.

Campaign was short, but it was so much fun that the experience was still worth it. The whole game was like a time machine back to 1986. Soooooo many references to the G1 cartoon and the original movie. I had so much fun with the initial missions, I almost forgot about the Dinobots when I finally got to them.

I can't thank High Moon studios enough for the time and care they put into this wonderful game.

Bruticus was a real treat. He and Grimlock were the two most enjoyable characters, though I enjoyed most of them. There's a lot of fun in simply exploring all the ways you have to demolish things.

Grimlock's executions are awesome. I don't think his character would be the same without them.

The Campaign mode is fantastic, so much to love. I have a few minor qualms, but nothing significant.

- Swindle was missed opportunity. Nothing he did felt very Swindle-like. He never stole or cheated anyone. In the end, his stage was a Jazz carbon-copy, and for High Moon to stress variation in play styles and to not give Swindle something unique to use, well, it was disappointing.
- Cliffjumper's stage - was it originally planned for Mirage? Besides the obvious that Mirage turns invisible, there was a point when Jazz said to CJ (and I paraphrase), "Maybe you should think twice again about switching sides" - almost directly referencing that G1 episode where Mirage was accused by CJ of switching sides. Or maybe it's a reference to another piece of Aligned continuity that I don't know about (where's Sabreblade when you need him???). Not so much a negative, just a curiosity.
- The campaign mode had to end. It only felt short because the gameplay was so much fun, and stayed fresh throughout the campaign.

The things I loved (Warning: I may start gushing)
- The Dinobots. As a hardcore beat 'em fanatic, Grimlock's stage hit the sweet spot.
- Using Jetfire - that space battle really felt damn epic
- Sending out Rumble and Laserbeak as Soundwave
- Jazz's grappling hook
- Metroplex and Trypticon - does anyone else see the potential for obvious Cyberverse playsets
- The scene where Megatron goes to pet Laserbeak, and Laserbeak snaps at him! It's the small things that matter
- 1986 movie references - as overplayed as I think they have become - these really did it for me (UM, EXCUSE ME).
- Stan Bush
- The combat - as before, felt great

There better be a story based DLC to this game or something. The ending felt a lot like Mass Effect 3's. Rushed and just from out of nowhere with no explanation of what you just witnessed. I hope they have something to clear up the ending a bit. But that final battle was awesome. It reminded me of the Optimus vs Sentinel fight in DOTM. With the swords and shieds and all. I have longed for a final boss fight in a video game like that since then. Darksiders 2 came close, but this was even better. I just wish they would have explained the ending.

The voice acting felt like a sore point for me here if I have to complain about anything...especially in that above video. You're beating the tar out of each other guys, at least sound winded, exhausted and even frustrated. The cartoon managed to pull that off, no?

What was it about the ending that needed explaining? We already know where they're going, even though they didn't show us.

Mass effect 3 failed because it was the final part of the series. FoC is just part 2 in a very loooong series of games.

It certainly could be some sort of reference to the original episode, but I felt it was just more of Jazz taking a swipe at Cliffjumper for his aggressivness and enjoyment for killing. Jazz (and awesome work by his voice actor - I was feeling the Scatman vibe!) seemed to have less of a taste for that kind of stuff - though no less capable.

Overall I feel that the cloaking was overdone in the campaign. I mean in the original continuity there was ONE guy who did that (unless I'm forgetting someone) and in here whole swathes of transformers can go invisible. Eh, it's fun gameplay though.

You're probably right about that. And yeah, the Jazz voice actor did an amazing Scatman. So cool. :D
