which one would that be? the most unfortunate part of these EMOP's is that none are actually screen accurate. some are close, but dont hit it right.Prime Riblet wrote:Man, if I get any of this mold, I will go for the screen accurate white guy. in another thread i had mentioned that i had become an EMOP completist kinda by accident.Burn wrote:shajaki wrote:which one would that be? the most unfortunate part of these EMOP's is that none are actually screen accurate. some are close, but dont hit it right.Prime Riblet wrote:Man, if I get any of this mold, I will go for the screen accurate white guy. That's annoyed me greatly. How hard would it be to develop a "Premium" figure with a much more screen accurate deco? I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra if it actually looked like the movie, instead, I just grabbed the original "G1" release. No point getting any others.
thanks! the hopes for this was to help people choose between the many versions, without having to google 284 different images. that and side by side comparisons cant be beat.triKlops wrote:@shajaki
Awesome pictures; the lineups look great.
Only question is, are getting the Ginrai upgrade kit for any of these??
I have the TRU Evolutions 2 pack version and really only wanted the Classics.
But now with this kit on preorder, it has given me a new appreciation for the mold.
agreed. the only thing that stops AU prime from being perfect is his unpainted rims. MAN i wish those rims were painted. with all the details they picked out on him, im quite surprised they missed a glaring one like that. and as a matter of fact, the only other one with painted rims is the takara rusty version.Wolfman Jake wrote:My favorite is actually the "Autobots United" version. It's my X-mas present this year, so I can only stare at him through the window on the box, but I already know it's my favorite (I've got the Hasbro individual release and the Evolutions 2-Pack version too). Something about the G1 homage plus the added details in all the right places (and the mouth place) really hit it out of the park for me.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
i told everyone already! getting every EMOP was an accident!Cobotron wrote:Shay-Jay, ol' buddy, I think it's PRIME time you sought help with your addiction.
the elbows are stange, but if you position them "un-gorilla'd" i think they look fine.Cobotron wrote:The line up shots are great. It's fun to see them all in one place.
I don't need to tell you I'm not a movie guy. I bought the TRU two pack also strictly for the Classics. After a few other Canadians beat some sense into me, I have learned to appreciate the figure. Still don't like his damn elbows, though. I DO like the flame job too.

shajaki wrote:as im sure everyone knows, there are many versions of our pal EMOP here. which is pretty amazing since the mold is only a year(ish) old. im counting nine in total, ten if you include the gold lucky draw (which i dont because, come on!). i have seven of them, which are the ones that arent ridiculously hard to find or expensive to buy. so i thought id make this thread and showcase the differences between the attainable versions with some new pics (from my GF's proper camera). but first, heres the list (in order from left to right in my pics):
-hasbro retail
-takara retail
-hasbro target grimlock voyager 2-pack
-takara TRU rusty
-hasbro TRU evolutions 2-pack
-hasbro platinum breakout battle 3-pack
-hasbro platinum autobots united 5-pack
*not pictured*
-takara expo black/nemesis
-milk magazine lucky draw
-gold lucky draw
*pics are big and high res, so if you want to right click "view image" you see them bigger and zoomed in for more details*
