Fans Project Core has their Steelcore Heartmaster thing up for pre-order. Only $69.99 if you're a member.

A bunch of pics of the actual toy.

It looks pretty nice, and I'd buy it for that price. I'm not though, because it's $50 shipping.

I was nervous not seeing any sort of secure connection to the store, then I saw that the option to pay was through PayPal. Smart.

I figure I'll take the leap here and order it through them. They seem to have a very solid release date which means that they're either very confident or kind of cocky. Either way we shall see.

I too was relieved to see Payapl..~fist bumps FP~

Im going to lean towards them being confident and maybe 2% cocky..did anyone see this move coming? They played it well and just dropped it like a bomb..making only 800 worldwide(?) could be genius..

Hey funpub...There stuff hasn't crashed yet.....wha? too soon? :-B

Thanks for the heads-up, I'm #140. I'm hoping he's at least Springer-sized. I'm also glad the little fella can sit in the cockpit. This should be a fun figure to play with.

Who's he supposed to represent? A Brainmaster? Powermaster? Headmaster?

It fills the "slightly miscolored War Within armorless Powermaster Ultra Magnus" hole in your collection. Obviously. Isn't that what everybody's so excited about?

I KNOW this will skyrocket in price, but ... it just doesn't fill any holes in my collection.

it's good to see they are making their own characters now but I'm probably not gonna get this since it doesn't have a place in my collection since it isn't an homage. I hope it sells well for them.

Crap! This has to happen a week and a half before I move!

Looks like I'm missing out.

Craggy, if I can swing a couple before they're gone, I'll see about forwarding one on to you for less than that shipping rate.

Well keep in mind, its just the pre-order today, the actual figure doesn't launch until July 30th (which is why "the wait is over" statement is kinda funny.)

I pre-ordered him, but I'm kind of "meh" about the whole thing. I'll wait to see him in person but right now I'm 50/50 on just turning around and selling him. Its not that the guy doesn't look cool, but he's just kinda "that guy". Like "I have Ultra Magnus, Prime, Bumble Bee, That Guy, Cliff Jumper, etc..."

I'm far more excited for Broadside. :BOT:

The more I look at it, with a different paint scheme, it could be War Within Grimlock. Since it's an open secret we are getting FOC Grimlock, my Grimlock quota will be filled that way.

WOW!!! I love this!! was on the fence for 15 mins going back and forth because it doesn't stand in for anyone in my Neo G1 collection. but "Your order is number 381" so Glad i got it.

It can be my Ultra Magnus!

Yeah, I could see the WW Grimlock, especially with those smoke stacks on the shoulders. I really don't get the Ultra Magnus look though, someone might have to elaborate on that.

This I like, but yet again the U.K. falls foul of the dreaded International Shipping rate!
$120 delivered for a single piece is just out of the question and I cant afford another 2 pieces to be included in the shipping cost.
Oh well, maybe some sort of crazy deal with two other like minded Brits via a joint PayPal payment could happen, thatll work out around £56 plus a couple of quid for U.K. postage?
:-?

I'm in the same boat. This couldn't have come at a worse time for me.

I do like this figure and I do want it, but the price bugs me a little. The first Warbot was a blatant homage, a triple changer and had diecast. As far as we know this is none of those things. Not to mention $50 for shipping outside North America. There's no way it would cost that much. :-x

Hopefully this is just a limited edition and a repaint will be released later. Maybe with whatever hooks on to that trailer hitch.

I'm so torn and annoyed I think I'm going to
