MP grimlock resides on many classics shelves rather than MP shelves. Grimlock doesnt tower over MP prime like the cartoon, so they should have left it alone. If you go by cartoon scale, you now have dinobots that are too tall to be classics scale but too short to be MP scale. Total fail.

It's typically customary to at least give credit to where you got the pictures from before you go around posting them. This is the second time you've done this now....

How am i supposed to know that you took the pictures ?? your name was not mentioned with the set of photos.
It's not like the groups on FB/twitter mention all the people who have taking the photos they post is it .
I don't know why your getting so worked up about it , we all want the same information why should it matter were it came from at the end of the day?
If your so bothered about getting credit for your photos you should tag your name in them .

It's just a little show of respect by mentioning the sources. Everyone that reports "news" does that. It's a fairly common thing.

I'm with Optibotimus - if it takes 30 extra seconds to find out they're his pictures, it's worth it if it properly cites the source.
I think it's important to maintain the integrity of this community.

If his name was mentioned i would have said who they were taken by . i clearly mean no disrespect to the man , i am simply contributing to our community . Not every photo posted on here says who or where it has came from and i'm not sure how i could have found out they were by Optibotimus ?
How ever i could have mentioned these were taken from Cybergeeks Alliance on FB who did not mention Optibotimus in there post, maybe words should be had with them , i would assume they would have much better knowledge of the source of things they post.
I will title the photos for Optibotimus .

I said something...but in their defense. They did credit me in their posting of the instruction images that you also posted here without crediting me.

Once you post something on the internet, it becomes community property. You got connections other fans would sell a kidney to have. Thats your credit homie...dont sweat the small stuff. Keep up the good work with your reviews.

That's nonsense. I don't get as much free stuff as people make out. Yeah i got this sent to me. But i still had to do a review of it. Which still requires work to do. Plus this isn't even a final version. I'm still buying the final version, so i don't see how that's such a tremendous perk for me in that respect.
It's not about getting the credit. It's about the integrity of things. In the real world, it's called plagiarism and diminishes the work that the person does. I spent the first hour taking pictures for people. Taking requests, answering questions...ect. Instead of actually working on the video. Credit would have been nice, but as i said, it's the principal that matters the most.

Free stuff is free stuff whether its the final product or not. I'm sure selling your advance copy will help you recoup most of the cost to buy the final version. So in the end, you still came up regardless. Not to mention the vast amount of insider knowledge you have on release dates and other stuff the rest of us are not privileged to knowing. I know it takes time and editing to do the review, but it's something you enjoy doing for the love of the hobby. Don't make it sound like your digging ditches. You've got a pretty big following on YouTube in the TF fandom. As I said before, you're THE MAN on here. You're among the top 5 reviewers everybody talks about on these fan sites. In a perfect world the fandom would always remember to give credit when posting pics. But in reality, this is the internet. People blatantly post stolen images of other people on the internet to do harm, not so much images of toy robots. There's no need to criminalize someone for trying to share something with the rest of us. I know many people put their logo or name on their photos before they post them. That should solve the problem no matter how many times your photos get shared in an endless chain. I'm sure the guy that got them from the guy, that got them from the guy, that got the from the guy who got them from your website meant no harm. Just being real with you. hope I don't come off as being offensive.

I know if I was FansToys I wouldn't send him more figures to review.
Well, you got your wish. Thanks.

Whoa. It's not a big deal. I clearly misinterpreted the email, which just said "Maybe you should review the final version of our future figures" and that's it. I've since talked a little bit more to the FT guy and it's not like that at all. So we're all good here. It was most definitely not a backlash about an imperfect review. I've never gotten the impression that FT was expecting anything less than an honest review and I still haven't. Let's not get all worked up at the company because I freaked out and spoke too soon. I still feel bad, I certainly didn't go into the review intending to screw anything up, and I'm the only one responsible for not getting the tail completely figured out. But after talking to FT we're all still good so it's a non-issue.
