Fansproject Bruticus Scale

Hi Everyone, I need to know what scale the combined Bruticus scale is relative to Gundam. My Bruticus' fingers expanded and broke due to heat and I want to get the right fingers to put in the fist of Bruticus to repair it.

So should I get the 1/100 fingers or another scale from Gundam? Thanks for any help!

The most recent 1/100 scale gundam I have right now is the MG musha gundam, so I'm rather behind in terms of engineering, but based on relative scale I'd say 1/100 is too small for bruticus' hands. Not sure about 1/60 or higher though.

I am well aware of the issues with his fingers though, and it is bloody annoying how this set seems to keep disintegrating one bit at a time on me! :BANG_HEAD:

Just wondering, but what parts have broken for you?

Mine has survived okay, though it's been some time since I handled it. I broke one of the head antenna off about a year ago. Since then I've not transformed him much. He sits in a glass display case in my basement which is kept between 68 and 75 depending on how hard my servers in my rack are being hit. (The rack can produce a nice bit of heat in the winter. :) ) They are also not ever exposed to direct sunlight.

Based on the comments in this thread, I'm afraid to handle my set now.

I haven't transformed mine in years. I guess you have to be careful with the set. I hear the shoulder connector parts (the hole that connects the piece to Vortex) also break (although there are Shapeways alternatives).

Well thanks for the input! My was very weird in a sense that only 1 hand was spoilt, the other's fine but who knows. I may have to scout for the 1/60 fingers to replace the broken hand, hopefully I should be able to get it. I'm currently left with the palm & thumb only but it's still able to hold everything.

By the way my figures are stored around 86 Fahrenheit. I'm surprised only this hand expanded, the rest of my TFs so far are still okay.

Panels on the shoulder connectors... both of them, not just the ones on Vortex. I'm dead serious, the panels that don't even DO anything broke on me for no reason at all!

And while the fingers themselves haven't broken yet, the joints are very loose and showing signs of stress.
