Yeah, pretty much what NOS said. Venom will be a new mold and was hinted at being more feminine than the original. They didn't really say fembot so I don't know what to make of that. I assume it will look great regardless though.

Venom can't be a Fembot. There's no logic in doing so either. But he had the most articulation out of all the team back in the day and through the engineering choices attributed to that extra articulation and by sheer coincidence he could be construed as a bit feminine if just from the poses you could get with him. But it still doesn't apply. He's like Vega from Street Fighter for example.

If you own the g1 mold you would know what i'm talkin about. He's all leg.

I won't be broken up about it if FP Venom turns out to be a Fembot. In the end I'll just be happy to have Venom added to my Classics collection as I'm not attached to the character enough to gripe about it's robo-gender.

I just hope we see one eventually.

Agreed. I'm not partial either way as well. It's just that it makes not a lot of sense BUT if it does turn out to be a fembot....i'm cool with it.

On that note. Because this exclusive set is only being produced directly by the amount of pre-orders or out right purchases. It influences how many are actually made and ,because of which, they won't see a general release. Therefore, if you want them then place your order to get them custom made for you. I went ahead and bought the three.

Same. I learned my lesson from waiting on Steelcore and have been kicking myself over it ever since. Not letting these boys slip through my fingers like Steelcore.

Completely missed the Steelcore thing. I was totally unawares of it's existence. I don't know how but that's besides the point. What happened? Did you miss the boat? Was there also a "limited" and "exclusive" release scenario involved?

Heh, I misinterpreted the preorder availability date and the cut off date thinking one was the other and by the time I went to preorder (and had finances taken care of) supplies were out of stock.

I held my breath hoping they would have a few more to sell after the TFcon like they said they might, but as fate would have it that was too much to hope for so now I'm holding my breath for the second run they 'might' do.

At least with this Armored Battallion set I can have them on preorder while I squirrel away my pennies for the shipping date.

These look beautiful. Shame I can't afford them though! If these were in any fiction back in the day I would have to have them but thankfully they weren't so I don't I would really love Barrage though as I remember my dad getting me it form Singapore and then I foolishly swapped it for Point Blank Very impressed by how these guys look.

I got my order in, I'm happy to see TFSource doing holiday specials again. I have all their WST Stocking Stuffers.

It isnt illegal to tell the store to mark an item as gift considering you are paying them there wages AND your paying for the damn shipping.

You have the option to mark it as gift - hence why its not illegal - the problem you get with items marked as merchandise in the uk is that if i purchased Hegemon for example and paid tfsource $40 for postage then this happens - I pay 80+40 for the postage to have the item sent to the uk - item arrives in customsUK - because the idiots at TFsource cannot do a simple request this then happens - A letter comes for me from customsUK saying i have to pay them £40 YES 40! thats OVER $80 to just be given my parcel. The retards at customs UK seem to think $40 counts as £40 on postage and because its marked as merchandise they then charge me to just be given my parcel

You wouldnt walk into a store and pay twice for an item or go to a mcdonalds drive-threw and then be told you have to pay extra for a guy to hand you the bag through your window

Every other store ive purchased from always marks the items as gifts so that theres no problems. Tfsource seem to not be able to follow a simple instructions - so sadly these guys are outa my reach

Also when the insecticons first came out i got all 3 of them for £25 each from a china seller (this was when they first came out so no there not the ko versions)
