Is swapping the torso just time consuming, or extremly complex ? Any pin removal involved ?

No pin removal involved, it's also not time consuming... just be careful with it, lot's of ball joint popping, which I wouldn't think is that scary until that time I broke off Generation Skids' hips...

Yah, and no real opportunities to loosen screws or something to make it easier. The arms were some of the most scary for me. The shoulder is on a ball joint and a swivel. That made it more difficult for me...
[Edit] Except for the head. Definitely loosen those screws! (If I remember correctly...)

Frankly, I don't like the silhouette from what I can see. I really want a preview of it so I can decided if I want to bail for the Toyworld Grimlock instead.

There are some on tfw that claim to have seen pics of FP Grimlock at a convention and this silhouette is not what they saw.

So is THAT the pick in Volar's instructions? Because I do remember seeing that one before, and I believe that was a raptor or some such. Definitely don't think it's Grimmy.

Those ball joints on the arms are hard to swap when putting in the blue torso.
It's actually easier to open the torso and swap the bar they attach to.
No weakened joints, no stressed plastic, five minutes more work.necr0blivion wrote:Lord Raze wrote:necr0blivion wrote:Would any of you post a scan of this image from the Volar instructions? The only thing I have to reference a FP Grimlock is from last year (I think)

I'm certain it is. Grimlock is next on their list at LE-04. They have previewed with a silhouette each time.
Your reaction is exactly mine though. It doesn't look like it should be Grimlock, but I'm fairly certain it is. It's a shame.
Or so I'm led to believe until we get better pics.
