What does this trailer do in robot mode? does anyone know? I sold my Steelcore after deciding it doesn't work in my collection. I would re-buy this again if they sell Steelcore with the trailer this time around and that the trailer actually does something... does it combine? so much lack of info on this.. (unless I miss stuff)

Anyone care to share updates on the awesome must have stuff they payed for? Or in which way the fiction has evolved due to fan imput? Or what you can do with your crystals?

You've missed absolutely nothing my friend. Zilch. Nowt. Naff all. The square route of jack. Just the other day they renovated their website and I think moved to new servers, but there's been nothing new content-wise. I imagine the upgrade is leading to something, but no news yet.

Fantastic, good to know they still don't live up to the name of FansProject.

FansProject Core is not the same as FansProject.
I believe that the site started out as actually being FansProject, but was later taken over by someone else who have since stated they are a separate entity from FP and that they want to be the TFCC of the 3rd Party world and carry stuff from all 3rd Party groups.
The evidence is that when the site first went up the press releases where all in pretty bad English and FP's site stated that it would close down and use FPC as its new site. Then after a while of no updates, FPC suddenly updates with pretty damn good English.
Also FPC is based in Canada and have actually told me in an e-mail that they are not the same as FansProject, while Venksta insisted that they where, and since even Venksta states that they're not the same as FP.
So yes, Steelcore is their only claim to fame. A shame really that it's only available through them and their sh*tty ripoff shipping.

Fansprojectcore is ran by Ages3andup. I'm not sure if they did originally or not though.

The fact that there are new pics? That's not new news to you? The new images came straight from their site... Sorry if that's not new news to you.

Rumors - take it with a grain of salt

SC will be re-released (Most likely to be true)
Trailer will have the other Steels (Likely to be true as well)
Other modes for the trailer (We don't know yet).
Overload add-on/upgrade (Venksta confirmed this with me)
SC in other colors (Doubtful)

The way I understand it, they wanted to be FP's exclusive marketing division and distributor. They commissioned Steelcore from FP as something only they would carry to help put them on the map. How well that's worked is up for grabs.

So Trailer is finally here!

https://www.fpcore.com/news/2014/09/09/fp-core-premium-membership-and-steel-core-trailer-pre-order

We are excited to announce after much anticipation that Pre-orders for the Steel Core Trailer will be available September 19, 2014!

WAIT! that's not all. Please read on...

The new Steel Core Trailer comes with a 1 Year Premium FP Core Membership! FP Core was launched with the production of Steel Core, so we thought that it was only fitting that we kick off our paid membership program by bundling it with the Steel Core Trailer. The trailer and the membership will be limited and once sold out the membership will not be available again until next year.

How does it work?
It's really very simple. Everyone that purchases a Steel Core Trailer receives a 1 year FP Core Premium Membership and 3 free FP Core Premium Member Exclusive items!

The Steel Core Trailer Ships in October, 2014 and your Premium Membership is Activate. After that, you will receive 3 more free FP Core exclusive items (approximately 1 every quarter). So basically you are getting 4 exclusive items and a 1 year Premium Membership for 1 price.

What does a 1 Year FP Core Premium Membership do for me?
Ever since the conception of FP Core, we've been working hard to introduce unique characters and exclusive products to our members and offer specials for those who signed up for our free membership. Although this has helped us to raise money to produce more exclusive products, we have let our main focus of building additional website and community features take a back seat.

Introducing a paid membership will help us to complete initiatives such as our crystals system, fan stories and evolve the community features to provide a more interactive community for FP Fans.

As a Premium Member, you will have access to Crystals (a stats system that gets you special member advantages) and future interactive fan features that can earn you freebies and other member exclusive advantages. You will also have the opportunity to purchase exclusives and premium member exclusives first.

And of course, you will get your 3 free FP Core Exclusive Items throughout the year of your membership. In fact, every year that you renew your membership, there will be 4 new FP Core Exclusive items that will be available to premium members for free!

Why are there only a limited number of Premium Membership bundles available?
This is a first step towards our goal of building better community features, stories and fan interaction. We want to make sure that our system is able to handle the scale of members we are building our new features for. Keeping the premium membership to a controlled number of users allows us to grow with our users confidently and build a solid foundation as our premium features evolve.

If I don't want to get a membership now, will I have another chance to?
Yes! We plan to offer more limited number of Premium Memberships every year when we renew our existing memberships. That means every year, we will add more memberships to increase our member base and also release any memberships that are cancelled by membership holders. Unfortunately, this years exclusives (Trailer + 3 free items) will not be available for next years membership bundle as there will be 4 new items available.

What if I don't want a Premium Membership, do I still get to access the site?
Of course! The Premium Membership being introduce does not penalize those who would like to stick with the free membership. With the free membership, you will still receive news on exclusives and have the opportunity to purchase exclusives. We understand that not everyone wants the goodies pacakaged free with the Premium Membership or take advantage of the extra features included.

Although Premium Members will enjoy access to all features, there will still be lots of new features available to free membership holders. Our free members are still an integral part of our community and help build the community with interaction, feedback and other purchases.

Pricing will be as follows:

Steel Core Trailer with Bonus Membership Bundle - $64.99 USD
(Includes Bonus 1 year FP Core Premium Membership)
Steel Core Trailer Deluxe Membership Bundle - $174.99 USD
(Includes 1 Steel Core Figure & Bonus 1 year FP Core Premium Membership)

Special Flat Rate Shipping is available for the entire bundle (This takes care of shipping for all bundled items):

$12.99 USD within the US
$17.99 USD within Canada
$49.99 USD for all Countries outside of US & Canada

Orders will be limited to 1 per user and we reserve the right to cancel any orders that do not comply with this policy. All bundles are limited in quantity and premium memberships will not be available again until next year once sold out.

Very cool! Definitely interested and will be waiting to order next weekend.

I'm thinking Targetmasters and Headmasters will be the other products. I can dig that.

Euh..."only original" has its gray area. This guy is akin to every other 3rd party's re-imagining of an existing Has/Tak IP. Take MMC's upcoming not-Strika, for example. The design strays far enough from the original Strika to make it a completely new character, yet it has elements reminiscent of the original Strika. FPC claims that Steelcore is a completely original 3rd party character, but he might as well be Energon Ultra Magnus, re-imagined. Hence, this argument can go both ways: either there are a lot of original 3rd party toys, or Steelcore is a re-imagining of an existing IP.

Ill get the trailer, but screw that platinum membership. I dont see anything upfront to justify tossing them the extra 100 bucks. If theyre gonna make exclusives, they need to make some Rebirth accurate heads for their headmasters.

I believe that the $175 deluxe bundle includes a Steel Core figure in addition to the trailer. That's a good option for those that still do not have the figure considering the price Steel Core is fetching on eBay.

yeah, the bot and the trailer and 3 free $10-15 Core figures, probably, is a good deal, but I'm reluctant because a)the trailer looks nice in alt mode, but what else does it do? and b)are they going to charge me $50 shipping for each of the freebies too?

There were some renders that showed that the trailer opened up and stored little robots like a troop carrier if I remember correctly.

Re-read the bottom of their statement. That $49.99 is a special shipping for the whole bundle. So you're only paying it one time, when you sign up. Likely they've factored in shipping of the other 3 items into the price of the package.

Now how can FP get away with $12.99 shipping to the US but MakeToys is charging $19.95, :BANG_HEAD:

I'll probably get it as I was wanting the trailer to Steelcore anyway... However, kinda bothered about how it seems to be nothing more -but- a trailer. With no indication of a combining mode and with how stiff it looks when connected to Steelcore in alt mode... I'm not really all too impressed with this... cybertronian school bus...

Kind of come to expect more from FP and I feel a bit let down.

Im a 3 time FPC buyer. (steelcore, code virus, rack n ruin repaints)

They were also selling defender and assualter at one point. So saying steelcore is FPCs only claim to fame isnt necessarily true. I see them more as a distributor for fansproject that mostly deals in exclusives. Im just suprised that the G2 stunticons arent associated with FPC.

Have no interest in buying 3rd party toys that don't homage HasTak TF toys or HasTak TF fictional media characters.
