Youre missing out on an awesome figure. And it's voyager scale.

Hasbro/ and IDW introduce new characters all the time like Slipstream, Drift, and Wingblade. FPC did the same thing, just better. I'm not saying I want a barrage of new characters from 3rd parties, but an occasional generic Cybertronian character is always welcome.

I really like the look of this guy. Love that he's clearly an original design rather than a homage. Might get him if I see him for a sensible price.

He's a great figure. I'm glad I bought two when he first came out. Was able to give one to a friend that is making a MTMTE Magnus Shapeways kit for it. The price to get him theough FPC with the trailer is the best price you're going to find.

The one with the red core is being released by FansProject Core with the trailer...I think. The photo was posted on their announcement page for the trailer preorder.

Should be noted that core is a different mold as well. I figure it is one of the freebies & the rerelease will come with the standard core.

Trying to get on FPC website at 1000 PM EST and cant because the site is too busy. I wasn't expecting it to be that bad for a non transforming trailer. Ill wait it out...

Edit:

I was finally able to get on FPC a little bit after 1100 PM EST. The website was super slow and some pages took a while to load. It's funny how this trailer got such a "meh" response on these boards but everybody's buying one. FPC hasn't been so clogged during a live pre-order since the original Steelcore pre-order. I had no issues for the Virus or Rack n Ruin pre-orders and got in on the spot.

I think he is very fun. A little bit of a tab nightmare upon first transformation, but a very nice, solid, well articulated figure.

So this thing arrived at my door by suprise today. As usual FPC sends you the tracking number the night before it arrives to your door. Pretty cool though. Worth the money. Love the little red guy, wish they would do a new figure for him. No instructions though to show you where the decals are supposed to go. Did anybody else get an instruction sheet ?

I'll probably wait for this guy to hit the secondry market and go down in price a bit. Still want him, especially witht hat trailer.

@X: If I may hazard a guess, perhaps the decals are meant to be "place to your heart's content"?

The price probally wont get any cheaper. Unless 3rd parties start making their own characters left and right, Steelcore is pretty desirable because he is unique. Many of the decals have an odd shape like they were made to go sonmewhere specific. But the panels are filled with random shapes that could all be potential spots. Ill wait until FPCore comes out with an official configuration via pictures.

I got mine on Friday and also did not get sticker instructions. I believe Delta was right, it's more of a "do what you want with these" even if there are some stickers that should be placed in specific areas. I saw a video review talking about the same issue.

Otherwise this is a cool little piece! I love the little armbars inside to fasten the Corer figures. And now they have little guns!

Now, some extra thoughts:
- 6 C-clip bars on the trailer. I'm wondering if some of those other exclusives are going to be weapons that will have C-clip functionality
- The way the trailer opens up, and those front missles that pop-up (in addition to my thoughts about the C-clips) make me think this is a (part of a) battle station mode. Kind of like Battle Tanker.
- Still don't know who "OSMI" is (see the back of the packaging). Unless the trailer's name is OSMI. Or OSMI is another of those exclusives coming out within the year.

Looks pretty nice. Kinda wished they'd just used tampographs or paint apps, or even a sheet of waterslide transfers on it rather than stickers (I hate stickers) but that aisde it looks great. Really completes Steel Core's vehicle mode.

I wonder if FP will ever make that "Pharohtron" that appeared in the City Commander upgrade set's mini-comic?
