These pictures make Heartmaster look even more appealing to me. His green stuff isn't really all that noticeable, and that was what was putting me off.

As for Assaulter, he looks pretty good. I'm not too bothered by him though, so passing unless he really impresses when fully painted.

Really trying to dig Fansproject stuff lately but it's been a hard sell. Perhaps color pictures will sway me.

Same here. To me, something about their aesthetics just isn't doing it for me these days, though I can't quite put my finger on what it is that really bugs me about them.

So far, the only stuff I own from FP that I really really dig are the add-on sets (I have them all, except the exclusive 'Snowman' repaint of the Superion set).

It's cool that their designers have their own take on things and artistic flare, it just doesn't jive with my tastes I guess.

We'll see though. If color pics of this guy blow me away, I'll bite. The proto already makes his proportions look 1000 times better than the initial artwork looked, to me anyway. The artwork made him look like a weird big fat guy with a small head and huge arms. The proto kinda looks like that, but much better balanced.

So slap some paint on this puppy and impress me FP. If you do well, you'll have my $, otherwise, no dough for you .

All sorts of hell yes. Just when I thought I was done with 3rd Party products, FP reels me back in. I'm passing on Heartmaster because I'm not interested without an homage, but this I am fully on board with. The only thing that worries me is the price due to the larger size.
