It's like he heard someone say "scale" once and had to figure out what it was by the conversation he was overhearing! I still can't get over the repeated miss use of "bound" as if it meant guaranteed!

You could care less about properly scaled toys to match the 1980's cartoon or toys. It's more or less,you just using this as a excuse. Because you hate the bigger scaled barbie cabbage patch man-child TF toys.

Classics ,Generations is not scaled to match any of the 1980's TF cartoon designs or toy designs. Classics, Generations does not even have a correct scale within the line itself. Everything is all messed up and screwed up. Most toys were given the wrong scale compared to other characters toys in this line. While a small handful were given somewhat correct scaled toys compared to other toys in this line.

None of your 3rd party and classics scales make any sense. As you have no problems with those TFC combiners being vastly over sized barbie,cabbage patch dolls. Yet you complain when the non-combiners characters toys get bigger scaled toys.

It's more or less you barking down rules for others to follow. While you create all these loop holes to not follow your own set rules.

A Voyager sized Shockwave would fit with the other Classics Decepticons a hell of a lot better than an MP sized one. In the cartoon he was the same size as Megatron more or less. Same in the comic. Same in the other comic. Same in the current comics. Same in the colouring books and most other fiction. He didn't even really shrink in alt mode (since Bruticus held him as a gun, and he was huge)so there's no mass-shifting to worry about. Megs was around the same size as Prime and they're both a head or two taller than the majority of their troops. In the Classics line, sure there are some bots who seem a little short or tall, but the majority of the rank and file are Deluxe size, and Megs and Prime are both available in both Voyager and Deluxe sizes in some body or another. There are far more instances where the vague Classics scale is more accurate than the original 80s toyline.

The MP line is certainly more accurate to the cartoon designs, but being larger, it's more expensive and takes longer for characters to come out. The Classics size has been used by multiple lines over the years, allowing for a wider range of characters and the inclusion of characters not even present in the original G1 series, but whom many might want to include in their collections. I'd wager more people have Classics collections than Masterpiece ones, who might want a Shockwave like this.

It seems like the majority of collectors who post here prefer their toys to match in size more to one fictional representation of the characters or another rather than the original sizes of the original toys. Likely because most of us are only concerned about getting these new versions because of an investment in the characters themselves or at least the franchise in general rather than just the original toys. I'd have thought that if all one was interested in was having a collection of the original toys, it'd be more rewarding to collect the original toys.

classics Generations in 2014-2015 are getting leader scaled toys. Quakewave is going to scale nicely and evenly next to 30th leader scale Megatron and 30th leader scale Jetfire.

Hasbro said at the 2014 NYC Toyfair in February. In a interview, That Five Leader scaled Generations toys were planned for the 2014-2015 years. So Quakewave is going to have more generations toys to scale head to next to.

No, I love it! Because I had to wait so long after my first order that I had to cancel it and reorder it when it came in the seller sent me two! The guy is awesome! My friend never brought his TRU Prime over for comparison pics and there are video reviews now and I just kinda thought I'd missed the window of people caring. I am very happy with it. It's not perfect but I like it.

Seriously wondering how long it will take MMC to release of all these promised upcoming toys. Like the fembots,carnifex Overlord & MMC Shockwave. Hoping none of these get cancelled due to Feral Rex taking so long to release.

The standing consensus is that that Shockave was just a stealth teaser for SixSwitch/SikKnight. So, like Perceptor and Brainstorm, they aren't likely to make it.

In fairness, there was a time when Arcee wasn't going to be made. Fan interest can go a long way toward making something like that happen. I'd consider that Shockwave. I'd seriously consider it.

Also you don't want that girl to be your girlfriend anyway. Just play the same game she does keep up the flirting! but keep your options open. Kinda like what I'm doing with MMC too I guess... I love all their stuff but if they keep not giving it to me I'll go somewhere else! like with Nova prime =D haha

Okay, I thought there was a Quakewave re-issue thread, but I couldn't find it....

So, I got up this morning, after sleeping in and not reading any Transformers news yesterday, and spewed coffee all over my screen when I saw the Shockwave pre-order at BBTS and news and pics here at Seibertron.

Yeah, sorry FT. If you were quicker and shipped the re-issue last month... I cancelled my order for this and am waiting on the Masterpiece now. The price was, what, $20 different?

I did the same thing and canceled my Quakewave reissue... Also my bets are that Shockwave will be cheaper then $150 at the end of the day. BBTS did say that it's just a place order price and will likely be lower.
