I'll be first to admit I bought pokemon black, played it, beat it, etc. I'm sure there are others here too. I currently am trying to evolve woobat into swoobat, and am having a tremendous amount of trouble doing so. I read that you have to max out it's happyness? Whats the fastest and most time efficient way to do so, if there even is a fast way?

My favourite method: Equip a Soothe Bell and bike 32640* steps. It takes about half an hour per Pokemon.

It's cost effective and eliminates button spamming.

*That covers Pokemon who have 0 base happiness. Most Pokemon will only require 23680 steps.

You are sooooooo far from first to admit that. The only reason you're not last is because I haven't picked it up yet.

Well, if it's anything like the previous generations, stat-boosting items like Protein, Rare Candy, iron etc. should offer decent value, but that's pretty costly. A cheaper way is to level up, which offers about the same increase in happiness. A good plan, if the Pokemon is low-level, would be to give the Pokemon an ExpShare, then go face down high-level trainers (Using anyone EXCEPT the low-level Pokemon, obviously), especially the Elite Four.

That's exactly what Iv'e been doing! It doesn't seem to be working. Maybe Ishould breed a lower level less experenced one? I'm only trying to complete the dex' and ma like 2 pokemon short (unova, not national.) I have no freekin clue were my sooth bell went off to...
Anyhow, I didn't mean it like I AM the first to admit it, but like, I'm not ashamed too. you should pick it up though, it's a very crisp game.
