I saw a DVD set of the old TOS animated series, I am pondering if I should get a set of that or not. I am still looking for TOS box sets, hard to find in Michigan, amounst other things.
Well, that depends, do you have a toliet at home you could flush your money down.
I've heard that the animated TOS was on par with the Star Wars Christmas Special.
Seeing as how noticable your bias to TOS itself if, I shall hold your opinion as moot.
I honestly don't know. I've never seen an episode that's just what I've heard.
Granted, I've heard that from Star Wars fans, so take what you will.
Well, Star Wars and Star Trek fans ( traditionally ) don't see eye to eye. I actually heard the reason it was taken off the air orginally was cause the stories were too complex for the average 5-9 year old. TAS was actually aimed at TOS fans, who were probably eaither teenagers or adults in their 20's - 30's at that time.
I outta pick up the boxset and do an episode to episode review one of these days here.
Chances are then, that'd I'd like the animated series. I like how the original cast evolved into the characters they played in the movies, with the exception of the Motion Picture. Between TOS and the Wrath of Khan, they seemed to learn how to act, and the writers learned how to tell a good story, to me anyway.
