No its not
The animation was done by filmation of the early seventies thats the only thing that may be to your liking but thats about it

Ive seen a few eps and it was acutally pretty good... course i watched it when it came on Nickelodion (Will let you know how old i am).

Well, Star Wars and Star Trek fans ( traditionally ) don't see eye to eye. I actually heard the reason it was taken off the air orginally was cause the stories were too complex for the average 5-9 year old. TAS was actually aimed at TOS fans, who were probably eaither teenagers or adults in their 20's - 30's at that time.
I outta pick up the boxset and do an episode to episode review one of these days here.
