Feeling a little depressed..

Just feeling kind of down today. I recently learned that my cousin has breast cancer. Fortunately, it's only stage zero, but she's worried that she might still have to have a masectomy due to our family's history of breast cancer. I am praying that she will get through this okay.

Yeah, hopefully she will make it through. It's a good chance, even with the history, since it was caught so early. Don't let it get you down, modern medicine combined with her awareness to get checked most likely will save her life. It seems that a mastectomy would be the worst case scenario. (I'm not demeaning the seriousness of that either, I'm just saying, it's better than months-long suffering resulting in death.) Just be supportive of her.

My mom has Stage 4 Breast Cancer that has spread all throughout her bones.

I hope your family has an easier time of it than mine has.

Dont let it get you down,i know people who got through this almost unscathed.The fact that it is still at an early stage means it can be cured.Give her support and all will be Ok.

All I can say is that the best thing to is be the strongest you can: you, your cousin, and your family. It can be very hard to do given what you're up against, but if you can find any way to be positive, it will spread to everyone around you and help you through it. If you let it get you down, everyone else will feel the same way. I've seen and experienced both situations and don't let yourself deal with the latter.
I'll remember pray for you guys for sure. I hope she'll pull through this well.

Sorry to hear about your cousin. Stay positive. She caught it in stage 0, so chances are really good that they can take care of it pretty quickly.

I caught Melanoma in stage 0 and the only thing I have to show for it is a small scar.
