Takara will do one use that as Hardshell and domestic releases as the troop builders!

Must've gotten something mixed up somewhere. I remember seeing that Predaking's large toy was being called something other than Leader class, and for some reason thought it was Commander class. But in light of already having Cyberverse Commanders, another pricepoint with the same name could be confusing. #-o

Thanks for reminding me!

How do you figure that?

Logically, the minions' design would be based on the leader?

Hardshell isn't the leader. Where'd you get that idea? Sharpshot is (or was) the leader.

Ah, excellent, a commander class figure. How I can buy 50 of him and it wouldn't be as bad as when I tried to buy lots of Movieverse Dreadwings.

EDIT: I meant to say NOW I can buy 50 of them. Yep

perfect enemy for the Mad Max I mean Death Race sorry Beast Hunters Autobots, I'm sold!

Wait, he'll have gigantic beetle-head back kibble, won't he #-o Oh well, still cool. Do some "battle damage" and they'll be great troop builder in either mode

Hardshell isn't the leader in Prime, he's just the roughest toughest Insecticon. They don't seem to have a hierarchy.

This looks like fun!

Reminds me of DotM Commander Hatchet, which was an excellent mold for its size, and a good stand-in for the lack of a Deluxe version.

Will definitely consider Hardshell.

Hardshell needs to be made as a leader, without stupid flyout gun gimmicks.

Of course, they're a bit late as Hardshell is dead.

I often use the term in it's general sense of animated entertainment, not the strict sense of Japanese-originating animated entertainment.
I could have said cartoon, if that sounds better. =)

As for the insecticons, cool! I've yet to check out FoC. Will be nice to see more than Hardshell. Do they also give them unique models? Hopefully. I find the same-look insecticons of Prime, while logically sensible, to be visually dull.

Yep. Even the swarming Insecticons look diverse (with different sized ones all having their own designs, but still duplicated en masse).

I don´t like it at all. I was hoping for a more beast, raw, organic look. I guess I had insects from the Beast Wars line in mind.
I hope we get a Voyager.

Why would you hope for that? The Insecticons in Prime don't look like organic insects.

Quick answer: Because I wanted to.
More elaborate answer: I´m talking about this particular toy not being as organic as I would like it to be, not about the Prime Insecticons being the most organic robots ever. I think Hasbro can do a lot better, even for a Cyberverse toy. They don´t look terribly mechanic either in the show, they´re more like monsters or creatures, that´s the kind of toy I want. I guess I should also clarify that I had the BW Robot Modes in mind, not the beast modes.

By the way, thanks for sharing those images, they´re pretty cool.

I didn't say that, but what did you honestly expect? This is a Transformers: Prime toyline; they're made to look like the show. And, some of the paint aside, this is an accurate Insecticon. Making it any more "organic" would result in an inaccurate figure.

Also note that the figure is standing upward. The head is popped up (because there's a gap) and the pelvis is out. Lining up the legs with the pelvis and pushing the head down further gets the figure the show accurate hunch.

That's the kind of toy we've got. :???:

Not monster looking enough for me. It´s like the skeleton from Scary Movie 2, it´s fine if it´s disturbing or gruesome for you, but I just want to kick it and laugh.

It was a rhetorical question.

Because Hasbro stood him up straight like a humanoid.

it´s fine if it´s disturbing or gruesome for you, but I just want t kick it and laugh.

It doesn't have to be disturbing or gruesome. It's show accurate. I don't ask for anything more than show accuracy.

Surprised the horn isn't a gun like on the show, but don't particularly care. Figure looks badass in both modes, and seems decently articulated, plus it's an Insecticon figure, which I was worried we wouldn't get. Will definitely buy it and any recolors that come out (I can't justify to myself buying multiples of the same toy, so I don't troop-build, but I count redecoes as new toys... well, new enough.)
