Thanks to a heads up from Seibertron.com fan Patrick we have learned that ign.com has a screen cap of the upcoming Transformers game based on the new Transformers Movie. In the picture, we see a very large and clear shot of Bumblebee looking over a very beautifully designed environment. To see the pic, click here

Wow...OK, I was waffling on my decision that my tax refund was going for a PS3. I'm no longer waffling. It will be mine...and the game as well. Beautiful!

Just as an off topic note. You do know the 360 is capable of producing better looking visuals than the PS3 right?

Looks good so far. Definitely needs some Anti-Aliasing though.

That's and the fact the game isn't finished, and Anti-Aliasing doesn't really show up on screen shots of console games to well in most cases.

This games supposed to be coming out on the Wii too right. Can anyone see how Activision can incorporate the Wii remote into the game?

The 360 and the PS3 version will probably look the same as developers will make it for the lowest common denominator and port it to both systems to save money. I just hope the Wii version doesn't tack on crappy controls like Marvel Alliance or Sonic & the Secret Rings did. I don't want to flail my arms around to transform or jerk the controller around to jump and dash. I'm excited to be able to unlock some of the classic designs, and to just run around and transform scaring the snot out of the puny humans.

Are there going to be unlockable classic designs? New colour schemes I could see, but whole new models (unless they're simplified, which would be fair enough) seems like a lot of work for an easter egg. Mind you, it would pull in punters who would otherwise be put off so it might well happen.

As to the screencap... the background is definitely in-game rendering. The character model is difficult to call, but after a friend told me the jaw-dropping cinematic Halo 3 trailer was all done in-game, I reckon it's not unrealistic to assume that this shot is in-game too.
