FOC Bruticus configurations

Hey everyone. sorry if this isn't quite the right place for this but I wanna share a bruticus setup with everyone that i think is the best so far :P i spent the last few weeks scouring the web for all the different setups for bruticus that many different people have done.

I've taken what i feel is the best parts from many different people's ideas and designed the back setup, and brawl leg, myself.

I think the back setup REALLY finally gives him good bulk and the new onslaught arms positioning because of this backpack design also adds to the thickness of the connector areas which helps a ton too :D

extra parts needed: fansprojects bruticus guns / 1 RTS highbrow gun

I dont display my FP bruticus with these guns and they look amazing as g2's smokestacks! I "cover-up" his karate chop hand with the highbrow gun. i couldnt find any big guns i had that really fit quite right on that vortex arm :/

anyways, here we are!

combined

combined, with his leader g2 Megatron :) gave megs WFC optimus prime's gun which looks dang close to original g2 megs gun, and cut his sword to "peg" into the backpack to give him his purple shoulder cannon.

group shot with Megatron. vortex gets the highbrow blaster so he has a little gun like his original and i gave onslaught the smokestacks combining one with his purple blaster and vortex's swords. looks pretty seeeeick!

use swindle's gun for the center of the back piece. connect blast-off's blasters long-ways to the gun. the holes on the side of blast-off's guns can connect to the pegs on the side of FP bruticus' guns. Then vortex's swords can connect to the pegs on the other side of blast-off's guns. swindles gun can also fit in that half peg on onslaught's weapon to stabalize the back.

You'll want to rotate onslaughts shoulder parts and flip his little bruticus spikes up an over the top of the wheels. Then you can put his "elbows" at a 90 degree angle and towards his back to get them in position to hold the smokestacks. I put the purple onslaught weapon on first, then build the backpack, then put them into the hands and then connect it all to onslaught's weapon.

Hope ya all like it!

Very nice, I love what you did with the weapons on his back and throwing in the big FP shotguns was a very nice touch, adding some much needed bulk to the combined mode :). The legs look great flipped with the wheels facing forward too. It fills in the thighs very nicely.

honestly i've seen that many times and i dont like anything about it. the big ball swindle foot, the stub club brawl foot, and the weird disfigured arm of blastoff >.<

it adds stockiness but at a very weird lookin price imo

i just tend to like my guys to look more proportionate and menacing >:D

I like the weapon set up. The configurations for this set are rather impressive. I personally don't see a problem with the figures and their combos, as is. I admit, I was turned off by the gorilla arms thing at first, but I'm used to it now. I even like Blast Off as an arm.

Don't know why the whole world try to give him the gorilla arms.
For me, he never has that gorilla arms, never has and never will.

The trouble with your set up is that he can't bend his legs forward at the hips now.

its a matter of oppinion imo :P sure he cant bend his hip joints with them turned like this. but is it trouble? eh not to me. i dont think he looks good in any "action" poses with like bendy legs goin everywhere and everything.

I'm just into a serious, menacing looking gestalt that can be displayed. and wonky long-legged-moving action poses arent that for me :P

I'd rather have him standing, looking cool and mean, towering over my other neo g2s :) and to me this is the best way.

Im simply sharing that :D

OH! and BRUTICUS VS DINOBOTS posted here! hah that doods photo-battle is epic :P

I may be daft asking this but the two large guns, youve used as smoke stacks that look like shotguns, they come with the characters or are the custom?

That was mentioned in the first post: it's the FansProject add-ons to the Universe Bruticus Maximus set.
