FoC Optimus Prime: My first customization

After seeing so many great custom figures here, I figured I would try my hand at doing some customizations. I really had no idea what I was doing, so I thought I should keep it pretty simple. FoC Optimus seemed like a good figure to start with since he has a lot of molded detail that was left unpainted, and since if I mess it up I can easily get another one.

Overall I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. My only big problem was that the pink paint didn't want to stick to bare plastic, so I wasn't able to put the highlights on the wheels like I wanted.

I really had a ton of fun doing it, and now that I've done one I might have to see what I can do with some other figures.

Thanks guys. Really this whole thing has shown me that all this mold needed was some silver paint and pink highlights to make it look decent. It's a shame that Hasbro didn't do it themselves, but I'm guessing the low number of paint apps was a cost cutting measure.
