It is now a subforum of the Non-TF Toy Forum.

Convenient link to the 3rd party forum here

EDIT: However, for ease of access, it's now an option in the drop-down bar at the top of the page.

Yeah... took some searching... but I eventually found where they buried it.

This must have been done sometime today as I was in that section (when it was still under toys) earlier today.

The third party forums are under the care of El Duque and I from now on. We will shortly be refining the forums to be more suitable to the members here.

I was initially a bit peeved by the move, but knowing that you guys are looking after it can only be a good thing. Can we get a '3rd party membership' badge? :D
Plus a general question. I am hoping to recieve some Shapeways weapons soon. If I were to review them, would I do so in the toy review forum or here? I don't mind either really, but was wondering if it was to be here, would you create a reviews sub-forum?

This was my feeling. Why was it necessary to decouple the two?

Hidden like some dirty little secret in the attic...........isn't that a bummer. Probably won't stop there. Next thing we know it will be removed from the site all together.......

It is a sad day, and it looks like 3rd party stuff will never get anywhere near the front page again. But then at least this way I don't have to scour through pages of Kre-o/Bumblebee repaints/Jem to find the decent stuff :)

The move was a bit confusing at first, but now it's even easier to access than before now that it's featured in the 'Forums' menu (maybe that's why the separated it?) :):

I was annoyed until I noticed it's easily accessible from the main drop down list. It's just one click away now, which is actually more convienient.

Yeah, agreed. Hopefully it will stay in this new home now, and I would like to know if there is any scope for sub-forums suck as reviews, photos etc.

Agreed. It will be far easier now to keep track of 3rd party news, especially on a news-heavy day so no more worrying about what I might have missed since my last visit etc. Just check the 2 threads and I'm all set and all caught up on what's going on :).

Blurrz has added some sticky topics to the forum which are very useful. The 'release dates' one in particular will be an excellent resource! Expect many revisions for the iGear dates :P

Yep, they did pretty much exactly what I was hoping they'd do with it. No more scouring through tons of threads to find the latest/relevant info. Just check those 2 pinned topics and you're all set :).

You could have always just gone to the forum index and clicked "View new posts". That gives you everything since your last visit.

Yep, and I've done it, but it really sucks, especially when there are long news articles and articles with tons of images. It ends up being only a few articles per page so you have to look through each article all the way down the page, then click the next button or the number and keep going. It's harder doing that than simply looking through threads. At least with threads, it's just a text list of topic names.

It's all about convenience now Burn. Alot of members were calling for an ease of access in regards to third party news and this is the solution that Duke and I have piled up.

hmmm I only get a list of threads when I do that.
