Forgotten Corners - An article for TFsource

I’ve specialised in G1 and pre-G1 for years now, but along the way I’ve jumped on a few bandwagons and gotten caught up in what was hot at the time, for the most part that stuff has been sold off as I re-focused and prioritised certain toy categories I really liked. Some Transformers survived the many great purges and hobby-rage-quits I’ve subjected my collection to over the years, and often they haven’t survived because I forgot about them, but because I picked them up to assess how much I wanted to sell them, and always put them down again. This is my tribute to the forgotten corners of my collection.

Remind me again why I haven't picked up Rail Racer. Seriously, he's glorious.

Aye he totally is. This is one (group?) figure where they apparently started designing the combined mode first and worked from there. Rail Racer is awesome, separately though each figure isn't all that impressive IMO. Rail Racer was one of the first combiners I had on my shelf and he still stands tall alongside Superion.

Try and find the Japanese/Korean figures if you can since they actually have windows.

The moment I saw the JRX giftset was the same moment I started collecting Transformers again. I picked it, the 3 Autobot brothers, Fire Convoy, God Magnus, and Gigatron in one fell swoop. Good article.

Absolutely fell in love with that White Berserker Sixwing, by the way.
