FS: G1/BotCon/Minicon/Weird stuff

Got the following for auction on EBAY:

- G1 UK Classic Optimus Prime MISB - Production sample (Bought direct from ex-Hasbro head of R&D) - £200 GBP
The gold-boxed Classic Optimus Prime was released in the 1991 second wave. It might be hard for you to believe, but this is a staggeringly rare packaging variation these days, especially this English language release which doesn’t even say “Classic” anywhere on it, instead it says “Original”. By that point we would have had Powermaster Optimus Prime so maybe Hasbro felt the need to make it even more clear that this release was based on the vintage G1 Optimus Prime. This is not to be confused with the easier-to-find Spanish version of the gold-boxed Optimus Prime
- UK Exclusive Universe Mini-Cons MISB store display box - 10 blind packed Mini-Cons Sealed inside - £65 GBP
This set of 10 Mini-cons were blind-packed into small bags filled with fizzy jelly sweets. What makes this item special is not only the presence of the store display box (most were sold at retail on hangers or pegs). Each display box contains a likelihood of duplicates within each box. To display the Mini-con sweet packets, the store would rip off the top half of the display box as instructed, so to actually have a sealed box and see it pre-display is super rare. I’ve not seen another apart from the 2 I ordered. The UK set had an exclusive green Brimstone, Blight had a different stamping tampographed on, Cloudraker had a remoulded two-piece rotor blade system and Skyhammer often had the engines assembled wrongly.

Keep in mind that shipping will be from the UK, and shipping costs to the US and overseas have gotten really bad recently, for example a MIB Optimus Prime cost me nearly $100 to ship with insurance/tracking! Keep that in mind when making offers and when baulking at my shipped price to your location

- Has flap crease
- Has some creasing on main flap (top right corner)
- Has never been on a shop shelf, is a Hasbro Europe production sample, but not different to production
