Re-releases/redecos of the old Energon/Cybertron scouts? C'mon... where's Shortround?

If some of the name were assigned to different figures, perhaps these encompass all the Scouts that never got repaints in Cybertron. Or, they're merely repackaged like the Universe basics, which would be boring.

Now THIS is interesting... some NEW movie figs for non-movie characters? LOW-RIDE PICK UP just screams Kup to me... and it looks like there's maybe a listing for the white vehicle everybody so wrongly thinks is Bonecrusher, see DELUXE ARMORED TRUCK

A deluxe Bonecrusher seems a little small, but oh well...

TWO deluxe Barricades? Yes, please! I love that guy!

I thought most people stopped calling that truck-thing Bonecrusher by now? Anywho, there's some interesting names and possibilities here, but hard to get excited with so little info - aside from Arcee, I guess.

Voyager Prime and Megatron? I think this works, since I feel the 'Leader' size for Prime is a little big, voyager should fit him nicely, and it'll be cheaper... I wonder if this is the 'other' Prime prototype we saw...

No clue as to what these are... Your guess is as good as mine...

These are supposed to be highly articulated, but non-transforming, action figures of the movie characters. Think Marvel Legends, but with TFs. I'm curious as to how these will turn out, but most will ignore them automatically due to not transforming.

Note that in the product boom for movie stuff, Hasbro is doing a lot of conversion of existing toylines and slapping the TF brand on top. These are the equivalents of the MLs...

More really interesting stuff... someone at TFW2005 mentioned this may be like the Star Wars Heroes that came out with Episode III, little super deformed toys. These would be cool... but I'm still holding out for some transforming toys. YAY! So many cool classic characters there I can't decide who I'm most excited about!!!

The 'Galactic' versions are protoforms I'm guessing?

Ditto on the SW Galatic Heroes reference. I think in this case, Galactic might be referencing the movie characters strictly, not protoform versions, while the non-Galactic listings are, as expected, G1-style characters. I'd be all over Grimlock vs. Shockwave whenever it comes out.

I would guess the versus packs are going to be minicon packs as someone else did. I can easily see which Minicons will match with most of the characters.

I kind of don't like the fact that they brought out multiple sizes of a single character. I know it's common for movies to do that, but I'll probably want one of each character and now I'll have to use my brain and figure out which one I want. Sure, the bigger ones are usually better, but a part of me thinks it would be cool to have the whole set in deluxe size. Oh well, we'll see when the toys come out which are worthwhile.

I'm definitely going to stick to the "real" figures, though... No action battlers, or role play or any of the other stuff for me this time around.

If those are going to be G1-style figures that are similar to the Star Wars Galactic Heroes and Marvel Super Hero Squad lines, go ahead and sign me up for the entire series right now. I've always thought the SW and Marvel mini-figures looked cool, but wasn't interested enough to buy those particular characters in that particular style. G1 Transformers, however... totally different story.

As for the non-movie movie toys, I can't wait to see 'em. I hope they prove to be worth picking up... and that the Deluxe version of Arcee won't be a mere Override repaint. (Although I think it could be likely that the Scout Class Arcee will be a repaint of Energon Arcee.)

Actually, the one we've seen IS the full size version, the one in Ryan's gallery is the Voyager class Starscream. It's the smaller, deluxe-sized version we have yet to see.

You sure? It's barely larger than the deluxe size figures around it. Most Voyagers are literally twice the size of deluxes.

Not really, ultras are closer to twice the size, voyagers are only two-three inches bigger tops.
