G.I.Joe 25th Anniversary figures

Motto: "Tell my tale to those who ask. Tell it truly; the ill deeds along with the good, and let me be judged accordingly. The rest ... is silence."

I've been wanting to get some Joe figures to include as cameos in the galleries on this site (or maybe in a VSD related feature for the GIJoe/TF comics). I'm really excited about the 25th anniversary figures because the most popular characters will be getting released ... not to mention these should/will be the definitive versions of most of these characters.

Has there been an official date set for these yet other than "this summer". I was surprised BBTS doesn't have a pre-order page setup yet for them.

I first learned about these figures at Toy Fair last month.

I saw em in a Toy Fare issue a while back, what scale are they in?

I know they got more articulation than the regular 3 1/2in, are these 6" Joes or modified 3 1/2"?

Edit: Nvm, just looked at the site, they're 3 3/4" scale. Friggin awesome, Cobra Commander and Storm Shadow shall be mine!

I first saw these on JoeCanuck.com, when Hasbro accidentally released the prototype pictures.

Go here if you want to see the pics. I read that they will be sold in a box, I think 5 figures per box, or something like that.

I want to get a second V1 Snake-Eyes and repaint him into the F.E.A.R. Point Man.

5 in a box like a Battle Pack?

Hopefully it would be the same price as a Battle Pack

I just got the news from JoeCanuck.com. The next five figures will be Snake-Eyes v2 with Timber, Storm Shadow v2, Cobra Commander w/Ceremonial Cowl, Flint, and a Cobra Officer.

Now you know, and knowing is half the battle!

Flint looks really cool

GI Joe meets Marvel Legends is whats being said at JBL.

Being from the best joe board ever (joebattlelines.com), we first heard about these way back in december and we even saw leaked protos in late january. These are amazing figures and they will sell very well.

Wow these look awesome. I don't buy any toys these days except for TF Classics. I may have to change that.
